Saw BETRAYEL open for DEATH-ANGEL and VIO-LENCE at The Stone. Solid band. Fit in well with the Bay Area hordes. I remember they were featured on the RAGING DEATH compilation along with SADUS and R.A.V.A.G.E. (pre-ATHIEST). How BETRAYEL didn't get picked up from that is beyond me. Should of been signed back then, at least to WILD RAGS.⛧🤘

I was still in High School when i saw these guys at the (Rock) On Broadway. Fkin’ slammin’ band! They still allowed stage diving back then. So the pit was insane! Still sounds great after all these years! I got their demo at the Vault on Polk.

Herr Vaughnster Not as far as I know. Saw them a couple of times at the Stone in San Francisco in the 80's, then nothing. Never knew what happened to them.

Unfortunately there were 2 betrayal bands, 1 from Fresno, 1 from bay area, the band from Fresno, never made it big, they are to this day called Middle Finger with 2 original lineup, James "Hipp"johnson and "falcon" with Tom storm on lead guitar, don't know who drummer is at this point
