***** That's completely subjective although objectively this band's music is quite a bit more complex than Avenged Sevenfold's (probably because of genre differences obviously. 'A7X' used to be a melodic metalcore band and now play alternate rock/hard rock music with SLIGHTY Heavy metal influences.... (except for the thrash metal songs they ripped off on the latest album.) mainly seen during the SOLOS and on rare occasions when they use clean guitar riffs.)

My great grandfather, grandfather, and father all served in the United States Marine Corp. Both my great grandfather and grandpa ended up killed in action. I always believed serving my country would be not only honorable, but desirable. While my dad was away, my mom explained to me for years she doesn't want me going in the Marines, like I planned, because of our bad luck. It took years to even try getting it through to me, but my dad returned almost a year later with a purple heard, but without his left arm and was blinded in one eye. I looked at my dad, lost all hope, looked my mom in the eye and told her "I promise I wont serve in the military." Looking back, I wish I did serve because deathcore makes me wanna die anyway.

I will live but only if you save yourself so Please don't run a way from me My name is life, I have ran across unimaginable vasts of land, I have lived Too long for you to comprehend, I will never remember the names of all Those that have held my hand, that have held my hand, I have cried in the Faces, in the faces of a million corpses, though I will not live forever, No I have a parasite, he who has the power to aid me to cleanse me of Disease. Before you can save me, you must save yourselves Don't try to kill me for I will kill myself, so please don't run a way from Me, see that I'm worth, my name is life, my body is earth, so please don't Run a way from me. I have a body, it's name, the earth, the power I bear will soon be apparent To you, I will shake down in a cold suffocation spit a fiery death, Consuming unbearable hate. I will digest all traitors with a gut of Concreate mass. I'll blow you a way! A wave I send to wash humanity clean with the soap of the martyrs tears, It's been seen before, and will be seen once more, revival will be no Option. Don't try to kill me for I will kill myself, so please don't run a way from Me, see that I'm worth, my name is life, my body is earth, so please don't Run a way from me. I was just trying to point out that all forms of music have their place and that it was very HYPOCRITICAL of these metalcore fans to be winging about the clean vocals in this song.. When most metalcore songs have similar clean vocals. (even though this is actually A deathcore song.) Maybe you'd like me to send you some clean vocalists I like???? you may like some of them..

***** I usually troll as well, but you're a fail at it. Clean vocals in general that involve heavy music ruin the song. I prefer heavy music not post/bipolar-core
@7dayspking11 жыл бұрын
Ramune What about MELODIC DEATH METAL??? many melodic death metal bands contain clean vocals??? What about classic heavy metal bands like iron maiden? or judas priest What about folk metal bands like ensiferum? What about gothic doom bands like draconian (with both operatic female vocals and low guttural growls.) ? What about extreme metal genres that are purely clean vocals... power metal bands like helloween or epic doom bands like candlemass ? Maybe it's YOU who is ruining "heavy music" as you don't seem to know what it is. It's fine if you don't like clean vocals but to brand everybody who uses clean vocals as "little teenage preppy/sad high school boy" is completely ignorant. The Panda Assassin There's also Impending Doom, old Crimson Armada, Memphis Mayfire (I Think) and if you want a bit lighter, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus :)

The Panda Assassin Impending Doom doesn't sound Christian, nor do their album or song titles, but the lyrics are apparently very Christian. Old crimson armada (their demo and first album) aren't bad but they change their themes in their second album etc etc

damn, i like it alot, my only problem is the mixing. you cant really distinguish the notes that well. its like, someone went a little crazy on the computer before they finished the song.

I think you might need a good set of headphones because i'm getting great note definition.

krisrhebergen sure you can tell when they change notes, but all the sound is squished together. theres no depth. its like a radio broadcast.

Its crystal clear on my end.

krisrhebergen "radio broadcast" does not mean static sounding. it means compressed, or "squished together". when you compress a sound, it brings all the frequencies up to the same level. the bass sounds as loud as the treble as loud as the mid, etc. if you compress a whole song, along with the sounds you used to make it, it comes out sounding a bit like this does. but it doesnt end there. in this genre of music, it is common to scoop out the mids afterwards. so they take a sound, squish the frequencies, and cut out almost all the mid.

Fucking loving how at about 3:07 they all headbang in unison on the upbeats. I just knew that was an implied rhythm underneath the beat. Fuck theres so much going on in these songs
