Love this. I don't know if you tried it in Italy, but I can perfectly see it moving around country roads, trails and ponds in the northern-central part of the country. As for the south, I fear the rocky terrain and bumpy roads with potholes, but it depends on how much shock it can absorb.

Yes, Lago Maggiore, Iseo, Milan. Will definitely be in Italy but not that many pre-orders compared to France, Holland, Switzerland and Germany. Climate and geography perfect of course

Love it and will think to purchase but as a suggestion if you allow me, i wouls say that instead of having your favorite pot on the top, it would have been more practical to have a tiny wooden stove for the winter. I am a winter guy and i watched all your videos and i still try to think how you can be warm enough when minus degrees at night on a lake. Sleeping bag could help but....

I think out here in rural British Columbia, Canada, the BeTRITON would shine, but the actual size of the footprint the design takes up on the public roads would not necessarily be tolerated by drivers or Police. It remains an open question whether the BeTRITON would be considered street legal in Canada. I like its size as a camper and boat, which makes total sense for those applications, but as an E-bike I think we may be pushing it a little ?

Hi Mark, Aigars here, the founder / designer. Yes, fair point. I’ve had various experiences and attitudes from drivers in different parts of Europe. Some honk to express love / excitement and some - get the f out of my way. As for many new things - it will take time to get accepted and becoming norm. Micro-mobility will become stronger and stronger and car drivers will have to respect that. By the way - our DIY kit model will be narrower and will hopefully avoid this problem

@@betriton I know I would love to have one. I think it would be a really great 3 in 1 vehicle for the wilderness outdoors of BC where I live here in Alert Bay, BC, Canada. The boat part especially works for the bay here out my window 👍😃. Even with the 500 Watt motor, it's still an open question as to what local Police reaction would be to seeing someone peddling away at something this large on the local HWY 19 on North Vancouver Island ? The camper aspect is a non-issue, since there's so many local camp grounds here.

@@markjob6354 you need to take a lot of time to avoid major highways and always take back roads or bicycle trails. If a lineup of cars is passing you, like many major roads passing between populated areas it should be a no go. A good place for use I think is the Ontario waterfront trail or anywhere with an extensive rail trail network!

The only thing I dislike is you have to be outside the pod to pedal/drive it in bad weather......... My version would be an enclosed aerodynamic reverse electric trike/velomobile that floats. The enclosed cabin would double as a sleeping pod/boat by laying the seat down flat. For short trips where you're not gonna lay the seat flat & sleep. You'd have storage room behind the seat for something like groceries. For long road trips, it'd come with a floating pull behind trailer. It'd also be narrow to fit on the shoulder of the road. Think - aerodynamic enclosed canoe , with 2 wheels up front/1 in rear, suspension, electric motor/pedal, covered in solar panels. With floating narrow 1 wheel pull behind trailer.
