Some people say Barry Manilow isn't "cool" or whatever, but playing piano accompaniment for the great Bette Midler back in a Manhattan bath house in the 70's, does it get any cooler than that? Awesome performance!

@FunkFight1 I think she actually said Joey Mitchell. He plays drums. In another video filmed this same night (supposing this, because of her dress), she called him Mr. Fixit 'cause he took care of some problem with her mic stand. It's SO damn amazing to see this. I'm 50 now and first heard of these videos maybe 35 years ago. How amazing I can string them together today into a long playlist of Bette playing the baths.

This is fantastic. It must be amazing for Bette Midler ( who in interviews says she enjoys youtube) to see herself back then (even if she has all the reels in a cupboard somewhere). Hey, Bette - great then, and terrific now!!!
