Blimey, that was quick wasn't it! Good guys at UDO.

Huge thanks to the UDO team for listening to our wishes. This will not be the last update.

The UDO help team is incredibly attentive and one guy over there helped me work out many problems I was having. Thanks Jorb for pointing these things out so eloquently. I love this synth and glad to see it’s getting better.

Wow. Another great video on the fixes and the bugs. They should hire you to test these developments. UDO is a lovely piece of gear, but it isn't quite there yet. It's a good product that once it gets all the updates, will be a wonderful synth to sketch unlimited sound. And that is woefully needed in the synthesizer world. We need ONE piece of gear that really goes for it and gives those limitless features which can expand the sounds creation beyond all other gear. Then they will own the industry.

The update and the apparent attention to customer service has reinvigorated my interest in this synth. It's still pricey, but some of the more off-putting bugs seem to have been addressed

I'm really excited to try this with the Osmose MPE controller when it's finally released. The binaural PWM sounds amazing, also there's a whole new set of gritty 8-bit waveforms that give some lovely PPG vibes. Bummer that they still have not made the led for the Delay tempo work (how?!), and that setting modulation destinations using the controls still changes the actual parameter.

Those gritty waveforms are great for basses haha

I hope they let you just keep the loaner! Your input is valuable and you deserve a premium synth sir.

ALLRIGHT ! - this kind of "listening to the userbase" and the great update here , just got me VERY interested in the UDO Supersynth ! - i do believe it just got onto my "Wanted Gear" list ! Thanx to UDO ...and Jorb ,-

I really appreciate the detail! And your commentary is spot on. But I have to ask - it feels like so many demo videos (not just you) focus on init patches with the filter wide open! Why? That binaural PWM would probably sound sooooo good if you just closed the filter a little bit! Anyway, keep it up (the videos, not the filter)!
@JorbLovesGear Жыл бұрын
Definitely fair, especially in the context of an update video i get caught up in trying to make things as "audible" as possible to demonstrate them.

The super six just looks incredible… I have a few friends who have been able to get amazing sounds out of it, I just can’t justify it at the moment because of a little company called Oberheim.

haha! yes we are all wondering if the OB8X will be the Flagship killer it should be! I just got my super 6, I think it can hit a lot of areas of deep synthesis

Excellent stuff, where can I find a toggling switch like this? Would love the option to click once and leave it on without holding it down with my foot.

I don't have any specific recommendations, but I imagine some latching amp foot switches would work fine

Have they fixed the faders lag and added the preset We can save? Is really a letdown to have a “flagship” synth with this limited number of presets.
@JorbLovesGear2 жыл бұрын
Faders are fixed, but no extra presets.

Typically tutorials like this feature very loud Russian techno. Whilst I missed that, I must say I must eat my hat/previous comments. Good on UDO, I'll be looking at getting one of these in the future.
