Better Bottle Openers

A quick project to build basic skills, and some things to try and ramp it up. My normal advice on bottle-openers is "don't bother". But that's not exactly helpful.
I will reveal to the secrets of the ancient masters, as they pertain to bottle-openers. For decades, beginning blacksmiths wasted their time on nails, until someone came up with the hand-forged bottle opener.
There's not really a traditional way to forge one, since they're a post-industrial tool for a post-industrial job. Forging one by hand is like swatting a fly with a sledgehammer - the techniques of the blacksmith are far too powerful to squander on trinkets. It is very difficult to make people to appreciate how your twisted iron poppatoppa is intrinsically better than the free one that came with their box of Corona.
But keep trying.

At first I have to admit I was a bit put off by what seemed like self righteous negativity, but your message at the end really brought your point into focus, and challenged me to be more creative. For whatever reason, I have always collected bottle openers, and I love hand-forged ones, whether boring by your standards or not. But I REALLY love that octopus opener and am glad you challenged yourself to come up with something interesting.

I think you should focus more on this. I went to your channel to see more blacksmithing and was surprised to see the low video and follower count, honestly. This is a quality video, great videography and voice over, as well as great forge work.
