Better Horses Ep.

Recognizing the desperate plight of our American horses, this week Better Horse celebrates Equine rescue and retirement homes across America.
Rainbow Meadows Ranch located in Junction City, Kansas is dedicated to providing a safe haven for abused, neglected, abandoned and slaughter-bound horses.
We begin with Owner of “Rainbow Meadows” Karen Everhart. Karen's post-graduate studies focused on exercise physiology, biomechanics and wellness. Karen founded a program of equine management consultation, Centered Riding instruction, and horse training. She has successfully competed in distance events sanctioned by the North American Trail Riding Congress, the American Endurance Ride Conference and the Arabian Horse Association.
