Thank you for your review! I completely agree with you about the ride quality, the design intentions, and the design language/looks. I test drove Lexus ES 350's (2016, 2019, 2022) and a 2020 Acura TLX before I test drove a 2023 Accord Hybrid Sport-L. The 2023 Accord Hybrid Sport-L handled very similar to the 2020 Acura TLX in terms of the ride quality and handling, cabin quietness, and the material quality. The accord had much better visibility than the 2022 TLX and the 2022 ES 350! I was impressed, so I put a deposit on a 2023 Accord Sport-L (Still Night Pearl) ... waiting for it to arrive!

I noticed immediately that the 2023 Touring I purchased a week ago doesn’t have a carburetor nor chrome bumpers like the first generation did. PLUS the price increased a LOT!! I suppose that is evolution for ya’ Next thing you know Honda will be building cars (Accords) that are 100% electric, or maybe hydrogen/electric hybrid?

The fuel economy that you mentioned you were seeing was awful compared to the EPA ratings. I'm surprised you did not elaborate. I have had my Touring model for over a month now and am averaging about 41 mpg. That includes about half the miles going short distances in cold weather. On a few longer drives, I have gotten between 43 and 47 and am quite pleased with that, given the 19" wheels and tires which are a gas thief.

I have a sport hybrid for about three weeks now and I’m getting an average of 37 MPG. Any tips for better MPG ?

@@dane940 As you know, mpg depends on many variables. I can only tell you what I do. 1. Drive like I am 63, not 23. 2. Econ mode 3. Use regenerative braking as much as possible. 4. Coast, coast , coast by anticipating when I will need to stop before I get there. 5. Stick as close to the speed limit as possible, without pissing off everyone around you. 6. Use EV mode when just driving around parking lots. I don't know where you live, but cold weather and short trips kill the mileage on these. The EV won't kick in until the cabin is up to temperature. Also, if "break in period" is still a thing, your mileage may increase as you put more miles on the car. If you're not happy with the mileage, just thing about what it would be if you drove something else, like a 4WD SUV!

I does look better in every way, they shouldve still offer a 3.5L though this hybrid option sounds impressive similar to what Nissan does overseas, having said that I cant imagine how great a Nissan altima sr with awd and e Power trims would make the market so much interesting!

boooooo. great review my brother but I'm still in love with my 2018 accord with the 2.0 turbo 6 SPEED MANUAL. if i could have one thing from the 2023 version into my 2018 will be the full screen cluster display, other than that there’s nothing else i would change about my car

the 10gen was rated x, 2 sexy for a family sedan 🤣. even if this car had the 2.0 it would still be undesirable, it looks like a 2015 car. but to take away the speed, looks and some features in one swoop is irresponsible and unacceptable.

Not buying it. I have only owned Honda's and my current one is last. Honda's have always bridged the gap between decent performance and practicality. The performance is shitty. I will by a Prius before I buy this crap. A car that big with a 204 hp engine. What the f?!$&. This reiteration needs naturally aspirated 4 cylinder with a bit more power. 215 hp with electric motor and 275 lb/ft of torque.
