i honestly dont even think it was the mixing necessarily , just the lack of harmonies, which made the instrumental stand out SO MUCH more and made vbs's singing sound underwhelming (oh, that is technicalyt what mixing is! ignoreme sos)

Im still so confused why they did no harmonizing on the og cover 😭😭 like in comparison to the song, the cover is really underwhelming. They did VBS dirty with this mixing 💔

the reason why they don't harmonize is in both original Kafu or self cover Giga, Giga didn't use any harmony at all but rather base sound to make it feel little echo, or because it also a 1 singer version so we didn't feel any change too much in the same chorus, and we also too used to hear VBS harmony in chorus so when we hear each person sing clearly, it feel lack of usual VBS vibe

I have a theory cause VBS is supposed to sing 'live', so their mixing is almost always the bare minimum I swear to god

blows my mind that colopale keeps fumbling the mixing so hard with a professional team, to the point where someone can make a better mix without even having access to the raw audio

When the song was added, I played it with great enthusiasm. When it was over, I directly changed it to the virtual singer version, Kafu sounds much better than the sekai version 😭 So I’m grateful to you for this, it really sucks when they don’t manage to get the most out of such a good song 😞

i was so disappointed with the cover, especially after wanting them to cover this song for so long 😭 it has none of the energy of the original which is CRAZY for a vbs track, hopefully it will get better when we get the album in a year LOL
