1:Its not 4wd its 4 motion: only puts power to rear wheels when it looses grip and less than 50% at maximum grip loss.2:you bought the badge at the front like that because on the mk7.5 that badge has the radar in it and it cost £1500 to get it recalibrated if you replace it and only VW can calibrate it, so I would leave it alone. 3: Golf R need to be driven. I almost fell asleep you drive like my nan and she is 86. I own a Golf R/ catback Miltek/ stage 2/ RL suspension/ RL cold air intake/ full maxton design body kit. I know you are young but geez if there are no speed cameras just put your foot down, this car was built to be driven fast, a stage 3 on Meth will beat an AMG C63 0-60mph something like 3.16 seconds do not baby that car. life is for living and the car will take all you can throw at it.

I daily my golf R to work and I'm over 109mph the whole way on the motorway, I do leave at 4AM with a non res miltek so my neighbours hate me but you are 100% right this car needs to be driven, and driven hard.
