Better Off Dead is my most favorite old 1980s movie. I remember watching it alot on HBO back in the day in the 1980s when HBO would air the movie on a Saturday or whatever. Plus I have the movie on DVD and i still watch the movie from time to time.

I loved this movie growing up. I remember the reference in South Park with the stupid skier guy calling him "Darsh" and thinking to myself "I GET THAT REFERENCE!". Totally time for another watch of this. Great review doods!

The first thing I noticed after I finished the movie is it has actors killed by all three of the main slasher villains: Beth was Killed by Freddy Lane’s mom was killed by Michael Myers with an axe And Steven Williams, who plays the black guy trimming a tree, Gets his back crushed by Jason.

Supposedly this, One Crazy Summer and How I got into College were written as a trilogy but no one movie company made the 3 movies so the last 2 had to be reworked as stand alone moves so much Cusak was too old to do How I Got Into College.
