Hello, Tom! I cannot help but say thank you for the idea of London Contemporary School of Piano! You have talent for teaching! I was lucky to come across LCSP channel on KZbin, it showed me a new way in my musical journey! And special thanks for your kindness toward audience! I often find support in your words. It so great to see our like-minded people, even if they are on the screen! Best wishes

Hello Mr. Donald from southeast Michigan, I am just a few months away from turning 70 and struggling to figure out how to go about learning to play the piano. I cannot have a private teacher due to being at high risk for covid. But my learning style for anything has always been understanding and thoroughly grasping how something works, an example of this is how I learned to crochet with thread is that I had my mom and aunt go as slow as they could so that I could see how the fingers and thread worked together to complete a piece. So it seems to me that a firm knowledge and practicing of techniques should be a good start. After watching your fingering it seems that you not only have total control but excellent confidence in your execution. Do you have any suggestions for me as to how to move forward in my learning? Thank you so much for any help and encouragement that you offer. Your video is excellent.

Is the groove course mainly for accompanying someone?
@contemporaryschoolofpiano13 күн бұрын
Hi Stephone, I would say it's very important for accompanying and playing with other musicians, but I would also say, Groove is always very important for 20th Century Popular music, regardless of whether you are accompanying or playing solo.

Why don't you have more payment options? I want to buy your programs. I am ready to buy now but you don't have PayPal. Please add more ways to pay other than just credit card or debit card. For internet related stuff I only use PayPal which is true of many people.
