I just tried Bleu Electrique after holding onto a sealed bottle to finally see what the fuss is about. Need more wears but was a little underwhelmed. A slightly more intense version of the OG. Nothing to go crazy about. Enjoy the content man. Keep them videos coming

Thanks for the shout out ! I do hate the bottle it’s super cheesy but in my opinion it’s a mix between Blue elec… and YSL la Nuit de L’Homme . I will say the longer the bottle actually macerates the more the citrus mellows. Although there is nothing that will be completely equal to the actual YSL . For price it’s not horrible .

I have a sample of the YSL and a bottle of jack of clubs. Your right there is a difference but for the comparitive price difference its gives you that "feel" of the OG. Naturally the wife likes the more expensive too 😂. Great review Gerard!

I hate that I traded mine away... I did it only because I got a killer deal on a 3.4 and was sharing the love. But now i miss it.... I shoulda traded half .. 😂. But the guy I traded to had never smelled it and it turned out to be his new fave. So that makes me happy.

I have not been able to get a bottle of the OG. For the price of one bottle of the OG I was able to get and have JOC, Al Nashama Caprice, and Elite Iconic Nuit. I love them all. And my wallet thanks me. I don't miss the OG at all. Cheers.

Got jack of clubs in the other day, it is extremely unisex, leans feminine to my nose. A bunch of guys have smelled it since I got it in and all said they do not like it. Buyer beware.

@@willw3736 In comparison, Caprice is definitely leaning more feminine than Jack Of Clubs. Jack Of Clubs is punchier. Iconic Nuit is muted and more middle ground. All three are sweeter fragrances but not gourmand. More shower gel fresh. There is Guess Blue Seduction which is in the same vein. It all depends on your audience.

You must likely know this but just wanted to mention it just in case. Maturation is a thing with the middle eastern fragrances and you don’t even have to wait too long sometimes. Just go back to the scent in a week and then a month after and you will notice the real scent of the fragrance. At least that’s my experience, but I have heard it from others content creators also. Directly from Puerto Rico! José

The opening of BDK Gris Charnel Extrait de Parfum is similar to Bleu Electrique, and BDK last all day long. Not a massive projector but great longevity. Cheers

That’s the thing with clones the quality is never on pair with the fragrance they are cloning plus they always have a twist on the OG . On frags everything is balanced and makes them unique .

... are these Arab clones good as stand alone colognes independent of the scents they are trying to replicate? Would they be able to compete with a Burberry classic, touch or weekend, or a Versace versense or the dreamer with regards to quality? Or let's set the bar really low, can they hold their own against Calvin Klein or Hollister?

Yes and this is something I was going to mention in my weekly wears. Taking the “clone” aspect out of the picture, this is one of the best UAE fragrances I’ve tried.

i've stopped considering the UAE frags, i try them on skin and clothes when one of them interests me and the smell is completely evolved and gone in around 3 hours almost no exceptions. it just isn't worth it to me.

oh, you have to try! It's an amazing cologne. There's an Elixir version, too. But a lot of people like the og cobalt because of the fig note. I also have to try the elixir as well and see for myself.
