My man! I'm so glad you finally have one. I love this thing. I have the Carry and Duty models. Both have 2500+ rounds through them without any issues. They rack really easy, use Glock sights, Sig P228 and P226 mags, Fit in P320 holsters, and come with everything but the kitchen sink. I think it's the best striker fired trigger out of the box. It's like 3.75 lbs. Looks like you got the TS model which is optic ready and has a thumb safety. I have the OR model which has no safety, but is optics ready. Being totally transparent, the only thing I don't like about it is when you press check it, you have to push it back into battery. I think the recoil spring is a smidge light, but I haven't had any issues. I also wish it had a chamber indicator, but that's not the end of the world. I use a p320 holster, but I don't have as many holsters lying around as you do, I'm really interested in what holster you find to fit it best.

A nanosecond after you pulled the trigger, I thought, "Hence, the safety."

This PX-9 Carry is super reliable I've already put 2000 rounds of 90gr,115gr,124gr, and147gr not one failure, not jam just ran and it takes Taurus g3 mags and sig p226 mags. This is a quality pistol and for $225.00 hard to beat the price! Thanks for the great review SPN 💪💪

The safety actually is a plus for me. I been looking at a s&w m&p9 2.0 compact with a 3.6” barrel cuz it’s the compact w/ a short barrell. This is the same sorta size and I like the look of the trigger. I’ve heard people say they are pleased with Tisas pistols and they haven’t had jams at all, I’m sure some people found a way to complain. They are manufactured in turkey but the HQ is in Tennessee, so that’s one thing people prolly don’t like. I do like that S&W is American but for $200 bucks more….idk I’m torn. I’ll wait to see your reliability report. Thanks for putting us on game!
@777LAZARUS9 сағат бұрын
2 other things s&w maybe a leg up on this one for is Customer service is another level at s&w from experience and from hearing other people’s testimonials. They just sat there and answered my questions and were so cool, not even the first time either. But idk about Tisas customer service so I can’t say for sure. I will say the armornite slide finish on m&p’s is hard to beat in any avenue and idk if they use melonite/armornite at tisas or if it’s cerakoted

@realwelder35297 сағат бұрын
It's really not. There's no adjustment to it, and it's super tight. I was joking with the wife and said I could use it as a trigger lock. My 8 year old can't pull it off. Lol. Everything else it comes with is pretty sweet, though. Don't get me wrong, it works in a pinch, but you better have on more than sweatpants. It fits pretty well in P320 compact/carry holsters.

I have a PX-9 Gen 3 Night Stalker and I love it. I am not a 9mm fan, let alone a polymer pistol fan (1911s and Revolvers for me mostly), but the PX-9 is pretty awesome. I picked up mine for $299 almost 2 years ago when people weren't too excited about them and it's still going strong without a single issue. Mine shoots hole for hole with 115gr, it's not a huge fan of 124gr from an accuracy perspective. It does not suppress very well though (at least mine hasn't done well with suppressor setups). I run an optic and a TLR-H1 on it, it's a great "duty" type pistol. I love that my model takes P226 mags, which let me pull some out of my "parts bin" from my old Legion that were laying around unopened and unused.

I got one of those and has light primer strikes… they sent my ffl a new one and sent mine back. Then they gave me a letter apologizing and sent me a couple extra mags, some stickers, and 50 dollar gift card to my ffl. The new one works great. For the money it’s definitely worth it. I think mine was 309 before tax. I got a couple other things and don’t remember the total amount. If I was a broke college student or tight on money but needed a gun, I’d recommend getting one. If you can afford anything you probably will scoff at it but it’s still a great gun. I was a little nervous after the first one but every gun manufacturer has flukes… even the best ones

I had similar issues with a canik. I bought 2 at the time. After looking over them both, i realized the slide catch spring was under the catch lever. So I put it back on top where it belongs. Also it was out of alignment. I thought I'd have to take apart the gun to fix it. I just used needle nose pliers to get it set into the indention the spring comes out from. One gun had no issues. The FTRB was caused by the recoil spring. You can contact canik for a free one, if you registered it. If not you can buy a recoil spring kit online. Hope that helps 👍🏾

"Tisas!" "bless you." "No, Tisas." "bless you." Turkey now has two companies in the U.S. I will give Tisas (bless me) credit that they actually have a company name English speakers can pronounce properly. Poor Canik. It leans more FN than Glock to me, especially with the controls. The controls do look a bit thick for a "carry". The sights look reasonably low profile though.

They’re made in turkey just like Canik, and I fully agree trigger is better than Canik, Walther (my favorite manufacturer), and H&K. They have a few facilities here in the US if I remember correctly. Starting off you may want to run 124 grain. First one I got was the duty in robin’s egg cause I wanted a different colored gun and I picked it up relatively cheap online, as soon as I dry fired it at the ffl I fell in love. I immediately ordered the carry iron sights version without the thumb safety. Now I’m eyeballing the 1911’s they have 😂 I’m hoping they eventually come out with a micro 9, but if not I’m completely happy with the two pistols I have of theirs.
