That is the fun of Chinese takeout ordering a variety of dishes. Because I have intestinal issues I have to resort to making it at home so I have control on the amount of oil I use. I have made many of your recipes and will continue because I think they are delicious and easy. My favorite is walnut shrimp, I cannot eat the walnuts but the restaurant ,unfortunately is close now, that I would order this had it with peaches and lettuce it was outstanding.

Ok, I'm lovin' these videos. With a basic understanding of the foundation of the sauces, I can do this. I love Chinese take-out, but because I like a variety of dishes, I'm dropping about $100 (US) for an order. Ok, I get many big meals doing that. But to have one main dish fresh (with leftover for the next day), I can make a new dish each day and have some leftover to mix with it. God bless you folks for doing these for us. The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; the Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Nu 6:24-26

Thanks, Teri... I don’t know... I just cook however I think makes the most sense to me. This way, the broccoli takes in the flavour of the beef and I want the broccoli to steam a bit. The beef requires a dry pan to sear.

Wow, General Tso's and pork ribs, somebody pinch me! Thanks for showing your fans how to make our favorite take-out foods! I would like to learn how to make pork lo mein. What exactly is chow mein? My grandmother used to take us to Chinatown in Chicago in the 1950s. I think the restaurant served Cantonese food. We always ordered silver noodles, clear noodles with chunks of pork and a few vegetables. Does this sound familiar? I would love to learn how to make this recipe! My grandmother used to make a huge pot of it.

Flo, I searched your channel for my favorite, but maybe it’s about exact spelling? Egg Fu Young!! I’ve fumbled at it at home a few times. For example, my egg ‘patties’ are too loose. The gravy isn’t as delicious as in the restaurant, either. I THINK this would be a good dish to use up little dishes of leftover vegetables, no?
