Ah! as I always said, you need more RAM! and finally a great TV box with Android and 4GB ram! it's great, actually really good looking (I'd personally search for a darker wood color cause of other furniture) but that 1 thing! Netflix being here the downside probably makes that tv box hard to sell and that's a shame cause it is so good and even with a hardware supporting the AV1 codec, maybe that certification or what ever will be fixed by updates but honestly for now it might be a deal breaker for a lot of people

Actually there is a way to watch netflix on this box. It's ATV apk version 6.1.3 with ESN from Mecool km6 delux, supports 4k, voice input and atv channels, link on russian forum 4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=1007166&view=findpost&p=103876933. I have not tested by myself, still waiting my box.

Not too many lags. As snappy as the Nvidia SHield TV. As for speed - haven't tested them.

If you need such a box for Netflix - then the Mi Box is better. In terms of performance, I believe the KM6 Deluxe is the better choice.

You can, but there's some button reprogramming needed, because Android TV has now enforced using the default launcher.

Does the KM6 Deluxe supports surround Sound (5.1) / (dolby, etc.) pass through? Especially when streaming IPTV. Some say it supports that function while other (e.g. geekbuying) tell their customers it's not able with this box. And the Mecoool customer service don't respond to customer questions. i got an Yamaha RX-V... AV receiver and a 5.1 surround System which is connected to my Samsung TV (connect box) via SPDIF/optical cable and i wanna get sure i am able to use my Sound System while watching IPTV.? If it only supports that function through HDMI it wouöd be okay too. Sadly theres no concrete information from Mecool - many people use a setup like mine (AV-receiver) for surround sound, so that info would help many others too..

Great video as usual! I really wanna get a decent android box for casting and playing 4k movies, so i have a few questions. How does this Mecool play 4k movies from external storage, is there any lag? I also know that previous Mecool boxes had an awful wifi chip leading to lot of connection problems with the wifi. I got one but it has issues. After shutting down, it won't restart with the remote, I have to unplug the power to restart it. Upon restart, the WIFI fails to automatically connect 90% of the time. It also had some conflict with my Yamaha AV receiver. It would run fine for 90 minutes or so and then the picture would start glitching. Also the fake woodgrain top fell off.

Helo, I’m not sure version 10 compatible some of the apps like HBO MAX ,No sound at all.Disney plus, you can’t heard any sound once you changes to English language. KODI add on some apps link keep crashing. 😞 Compare to all my tv box under 9 version system. Quite disappointed.

Any problem with ethernet disconnection after some time in stand-by mode? I have it on my KM6 Deluxe and only reboot helps so basically only wifi is usable option. Wondering why no reviewer of KM6 has not mentioned such a stupid flaw of this device... like no one has ever tried it with ethernet?

Hmm, I haven't used it much on standby. During the testing time ethernet was just fine. Kind of annoying. Have you tried attaching to another router? And is it pingable before the reboot?

So mecool km2 is running certified. Netflix and google Chromecast built in. And looking to be a 4k certified beast. Why did they build it with the s905x2 chip. Instead o the new. X4? Btw. #Mecoolkm2 is looking and running flawless. Especially with android tv and 4k Netflix but every thing else in the Playstore. I’d take it over every tv stick or dongle because it has 2 USB ports tf card reader sd card hdmi Ethernet port and a power button. With a remote that’s even better than this.
