You can also use the belt pads from peak design. They would cushion it.

Falcam is INCREDIBLE!! Recently, I was wanting to get a clip system for my camera. I only knew about the peak design clip, which has a hefty $70 price tag. But then I found the falcam clip… It’s WAY better😂 The issue I saw with peak design clip, was when you are taking the base off and on backpacks/belts frequently, it can be difficult to tighten it all the way. The falcam tightening system is SUPERIOR, and I’ve never had a problem with it. Plus, I got it on sale for $50. I’d highly recommend getting a falcam over the peak design clip.

By clips do you mean the anchor links? You can buy 4 of the tags and 2 of the buckles for about 25 bucks and just attach it to another camera strap

trusting my camera with a larger lens to those 2 small elastic bands seems sketchy in my eyes

Yeah, not sure it's designed for big, heavy lenses. I like the Rapid Strap. But I also use an accessory safety strap with it.

I don't think its elastic, it looks more like 550 cord or the like.

Back in my combat photography days, we had a clip system like that to carry a camera on an US Army LC1 harness.

How does one do combat photography? I've always been interested in how you guys go into different scenarios and get amazing looking photos in the stress of whatever situation is going on
@dangilmore9724Ай бұрын
@bennettphotography08 The first qualification is to be crazy. The second is to be crazy enough to do it, and the third qualification is to be able to deal with the CIA (or whatever Intel agency for your given country). Then you have to be willing to go into places with lots of lead in the air with no means to shoot back. Anything in a combat zone is subject to being shot at by both sides. Mostly, you get into it by accident (being in the wrong place at the wrong time.)

I love Falcam's clip system! It doesn't rattle like peak design and they are actually cheaper!
@chris_reyemАй бұрын
I have three of the capture clips and never experienced rattling. 😳 on one of theme I was annoyed by the lock twist switch thingy that switched into the lock position on its own but nether heard theme rattling. Maybe yours wasn’t good?! 🤔 in that case you should consider to use your lifetime warranty.

Just use the Peak Pro Pad. It's advertised as a belt clip but you can use it as a weight spreader for backpack straps!
@tarunsetty109Ай бұрын
You should’ve tried the pro pad. It works really well. You can use it with a belt too :)

How on earth you can fit it to backpack as its ment to mount in belt which you wear "horizontally", backpack vertically 🤷🏼♂️

Nice to have a work around. I use the spider design and it doesn’t have that issue. I use peak design for camera straps though.

I think the Peak Design screw down fastener system is more secure than the Ulanzi “string based” connection system. Ulanzi even includes extra “strings” with their quick release backpack system, just in case, I guess.
