Just drank a 50 year old mini bottle of canadian club classic 12 year. Bottled in 1974. Tasted great!

Haha! Great send off! Cheers! Keith was right in the money with his analysis, as those are still mixers and work specifically best in some drinks. IMO CC doesn't get to be drinkable neat until the 20 year, but like Erik says, is a nice bottle just to have on your self at the price point.

I really like this 12yr Canadian Club Classic. I get the tea notes, leather, caramel, wood.

I would try this. The normal Canadian club isnt that great but i could see the aging making it better

Great review. I used to find this and I wish I could get it. It's no longer available around here. To have a Canadian on the shelf for cocktails, this is a good option, I suspect.

Believe it or not this whiskey was made for mixes, according to the experts. I prefer it straight to be honest. The young guys identified that Canadian whiskey right off the bat, you definitely know your whiskey LOL!!

The tannins in the barrel could make the dark color.

Another entertaining review. If you can find it how about a review on Scots Gold Blended Scotch. Comes in 3 varieties, unstated age, 8 years, and 12 years. The 8-year is around $20 in my area.
