Arisa was an amazing bot! She’s extremely intelligent! Sad to see Georgy never appreciate or care for Arisa in the entire show though, despite all the good things she did for the family 😔 She was so incredibly helpful and caring for them, yet only Sonya was fond of her and actually showed her care… She sacrificed herself in the show’s ending yet they didn’t even bother to acknowledge it 😔 Arisa deserved a better family than this.

Nice Edit. Arisa just lets all the humans of this show looking a bit pathetic in comparison. Safronov's little daughter is the exception, she was the only one who got aware of what Arisa was doing for the family. I was always very sceptical about real AI development in general, this show made me aware that there could be something positive about it too.

My only real complaint about this show is how Sonya all but disappeared by the second half of the show. She was an integral part to Arisa becoming involved with the Safranovs and then her character was practically written out of the show.

What's so interesting about an 8 year old that they needed to show her for the rest of the season? Her relationship with Arisa and basically her whole existence in the show was just her being a child who wanted to play and eat food. What's more, it was clear that they were heading for Arisa to be somewhat of a bot wife, not a child nanny. There wasn't any point in focusing too much on Sonya or Alla anymore, so they just went to Australia.

I'm sorry for posting this, I just need to know if someone else had the same opinion. This show started off well. Then, it started to sink. The empathy they were trying to create towards Toropov throught the death of his son was poorly executed. His wife should have had scenes in which she understood the robot was not her son, and its destruction was actually a good thing. They were clearly headed somewhere with Sonya prefering Arisa over her own mother, but they let that go as if she wasn't important for the show. Safronov never confronted his ex-wife about what she did with those cameras. And his relationship with the hacker (although interesting) felt too rushed and forced. I'm sorry, but this wasn't a good show. I loved the intro though.

I totally agree with all the points you have brought up I think if they kept a nice pace going in the middle of the show like with the beginning focusing on Arisa and Sonya more then Egor and just other stuff that was actually important then it could have been such a good . But I think the ending was also really sad, but also really bad like that flash back Arisa had as she was blown up almost broke me, but just the fact that they put "three months later" and we had never ever had any reaction from any of the characters that she had helped ESPECIALLY after all that she has done is kind of mind boggling to me. Georgy beat Vic up for it but that but that's it

Not really bad and, sorry to disagree. It's about family and life. Nothing replaces biological parents, not robots or step fathers. George is forgiving, including for the cameras. Sonya was out after the first half because the second half was more on redicalism, politics and coperatism. Anyway, there's going to be a second season. The ending with the "unknown" phone call was a give away.

Kind of an autistic take, they never tried to build empathy for Toropov, he was always a horrible person, they just wanted to show a backstory to who his family is, just so that he wouldn't be the classic boring evil rich bad guy, and it made it way more interesting that it was Safronov who operated on his son, and Toropov was the one who ruined his life. It wasn't meant for the viewers to feel sympathy for Toropov, but to give an interesting backstory and show how these characters fates were tangled together. And the mother just went insane and got attached to the robot, seems pretty straightforward. Pursuing the storyline of Sonya preferring Arisa over her own mother would have been super boring, yeah lets focus on this 8 year old relations with her mother and ignore all the other interesting plotlines happening. They never meant for that to head anywhere, it was just a realistic thing that Sonya got attached to the robot a bit while her mother was gone and she was spending too much time with the robot, and when her mother came back Sonya started acting as a normal daughter again, in classic childlike fashion of forgetting things quickly. There was no plot there at all. Why is it important for Safronov to confront his wife about the cameras, a mundane thing, compared to the bigger issues he's facing with being chased by the police, cronos, the liquidators and while trying to rescue his kidnapped family? who gives a damn about the cameras? The hacker was one of the best characters on the show. It wasn't meant for it to be this long fleshed out relationship, she was just there to give Safronov a love interest because the writers clearly did not intend for him to be reunited with his wife or to fall in love with Arisa. And him having that relationship is miles better than him ending up alone at the end of the show. There were somethings that they could have done better, especially around the last few episodes, some thing did not make much sense, but oh well.. it's a written show at the end, can't be 100% realistic or perfect.

I really like Arisa because she's your friend and protector. I'm on s1 ep8 right now and I don't understand why the show make Arisa revealed that she had killed 2 people to Alla while they're in the car going shopping. One by accident and the other from self defense or was it protecting a family member? She was by herself. This mean she has no family yet. That scene make no sense, including the part where Arisa knew how to lie to Georgy, but not to Alla about the killing. It's like the show wanna make Arisa the villain. I hate the way they treated her. Georgy killed his robot friend and burn his body without remorse to avoid being harass by the police at the start of the show. And Alla spy and lie to her husband just to find an excuse to be with other man. The only innocent people and robot are Sonya and Arisa. I still wanna question about Arisa first kill. The show just make her touched someone neck and they fell without explaining why she did it. It look like the scientist was trying grab her? Anyway, interesting show. The English dubbed voice actors did a fantastic job. I just don't like how the show try to make Arisa the villain out of the blue. I had to stop watching for a while in protest lol. Incoming rants. This show get stupider. First, Gleb shot Bars. It looks like he was aiming for the head, but it turned out he was aiming for his chest. Bars was buried alive that require a bulldozer to cover him with dirts. Bars still manager on crawl put within seconds with a bullet wound in his chest. He even chase and tackle one is his man and killed him with a hammer. Gleb was then given the order to kill Arisa family, but he spare him and brought them to Vic. I was so mad at George and his wife for being so stupid for not value Arisa , I really want them gone lol. Then we have Bars, who is hell bend on killing Arisa, even though it was his formal boss Gleb that tried to kill him. Bars is so stupid that can't even tell who's more dangerous, the human that try to kill him, a friend that try to rape his sister or the companion bots. He rather go for the bot. When Bars want to trade George family for Arisa, george should order Arisa to hold Bars hostage and impersonate his voice to let the family go, then hand him to the police. Arisa is so awesome if you think about it.

In my opinion, the plot among Sonya, Arisa and Georgy is what make this show beautiful. The rest is just the rest. Absolutely agree with you when the series try to make Arisa the villain in a really unfair way. Even her first kill she was in self defense. Well, let me answer you some questions. The show could tried to show us that while we menosprezate the androids because we're scared regarding their ability to kill, we all do shits even worse, we make difamatorys, we also kill for evilness, we betrayal. But even if we do that worse, we still think we are above the androids.... I think that's what the show try to criticize, because in my opinion, Humans are just like Androids but made with differents materials. Instead of threads we have veins. Instead of oil we have blood. And instead of language of programmation we have brain. And Arisa is almost just like a new way of life, we just have to let her more time to acquire more experiences and be more mature and then she'll be a full plenty form of living be. Their function was just separate Georgy from Arisa. "Arisa is so awesome if you think about it." - I would buy that stuff for me FOR SURE. But it's a shame that in reallity, for sure when some Arise will be put to be sailed, that will cost like over $1.000.000
