I just really, really love RK900's face at the 0:33 mark. "Wa--wait a minute, I'm the superior model! I MUST REGAIN CONTROL OF THIS SITUATION." And then things get real. In all seriousness, I think this fits very well--Connor going "You're really great, but all things considered I still think I'm better" and RK900 having an attitude of "I'm clearly superior and I will make you understand this." RK900 doesn't get any personality in-game, but based on what we can infer from his design and the context, I'd say this fits him to a T. (And then it backfires and he drives his stress level through the roof while Connor's still cheerfully going, "You're great, but I'm better." Whoops.) The nuances in the expressions and body language make the whole thing come to life for me. It really feels like I'm watching an animation because my mind fills in the blanks. I love this. I love this so much.

I like the detail in RK900 handing Connor back the coin instead of tossing it stylishly. He's more human in nature, and while someone *could* toss a coin like that, it's more natural to just-- hand them it. I'm definitely reading too far into this choice in the animation, but I thought it was neat.

When I first saw RK900, I was immediately filled with hatered twords him since he was being used to replace connor. Even in knowing that he had no say in this decision, I still was vehemently opposed to RK900. Since getting into the fanfics, especially the ones where Connor (post deviancy) went through his own process of accepting -the RK900- Nines as a fellow freed android and not the threat to his continuing existence that he was introduced as, I was able to accept Nines as a slightly larger little brother to Connor. Although I have since accepted Nines as a good guy who happened to be in a bad spot, I absolutely adore this video. It is so freeing and exciting to see that one's (very) petty feelings were shared, even if admittedly misplaced. I love this~!
