Letting go and letting God is the best thing we can do, instead of trying to fix what has hurt us. Only He can heal the hurt. As for as the negative thoughts Bible said to take every thought captive. I’m still working on that. But no matter what happens in our lives or who hurts our feelings we have give to God and forgive them. It’s up to The Lord if He puts it back together. We must guard our hearts at all cost. The Bible tells us to guard your heart. I need to hear this right now. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and stories.

I feel scared to express my true feelings to the Lord because I was told it is wrong to be angry with Him. So, when I feel hurt, I apologize to the Lord because I grew up thinking it is a sin to be mad at Him. 😢

You should let him know how you feel (He already know) don't be disrespectful. Let Him know you don't want to hold on to the hurt and pain and give it to him. Dont allow the devil to take you back to it (when you feel the attacks start pray without ceasing) praise God for taking you out that space

I was taught to never complain about my situation because God could make it worse smh. These are lies from the enemy. Our Father is not fragile. There’s nothing we can say about our feelings that a) He doesn’t already know lol and b) would make him upset. He wants to have an open, honest, and close relationship with Him. If you want to make Him happy, come to Him with EVERYTHING - once I did, it’s changed my life 🙌🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽. He’s not only my God, but my best friend, counselor and protector 🥹. Trust Him.

God is a good and merciful Father who longs for His children to know Him. If you are afraid to speak to Him, you are not perfected in His love. In First John 4.18 it says "there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear." The more you draw closer to God and get to know Him, the more secure you will be in His arms. Mother Teresa once said something so beautiful about Jesus' love and I believe those words are for you: "Jesus wants me to tell you again..how great is the love He has for each of you- beyond all you can think.. He doesn't just love you, he misses you when you don't come close. He always loves you, even when you don't feel worthy. No matter how you feel, God's love remains. His love is faithful. Trust what His word says and let His truths speak into your heart. You are loved by God!

The only thing anyone including God doesn't like is when you're mad at them but you decide to tell other people how you feel instead of telling God directly and trusting Him to give you peace after. I have learnt the only way to get past it is to tell God directly how I feel, before I tell a friend and sometimes I don't even feel the need to tell a friend because my relationship with God is personal. Some fights have to be private. When you tell him exactly how you feel and ask for his help and his peace God will amaze you. Just let him in.

I’ve finally gotten to a point in my journey with God that I know I can and have to be 100% honest with him (myself as well). Often times I’ve hidden myself and have been too afraid to bring to him my struggles and or wrong doings out of fear of his anger or disappointing him. When in reality he already knows about it all and desires us to come to him in our highest, lowest and in between moments. His love and grace is forever unmatched.🤍

Our walk with Christ is dynamic-always changing. With spiritual growth, we can expect disappointment in the beginning, but as we commit to obey and follow Christ, the end result will be victory. Our journey with Jesus is one-to-one with Him. If you have received instructions from the Holy Spirit then you can expect opposition from others. Yet, we keep moving forward because Revelation 22:12 is the reward.

I will only comment that when we do certain things, like worship other God, do not forgive and the myriad of other sin we can commit living in this flesh, we hurt the heart of God. Just read about the children of Israel and His interactions with Him. Same God. 🇨🇦
