Bughead is cute, but it literally took over the entire show. Barchie is the best ship in the show, hands down. The whole slow burn thing is the only good feature of the show anymore. that’s just my opinion.

Bughead is the best thing on the show but they have gotten so boring. I still ship them hardcore but Riverdale needs to make more drama. I think maybe Betty should break up with Jughead for Archie then later she realizes she made a mistake and ends up back with jug. Or something really dramatic that plays with your emotions instead of them just saying I love you and having sex. They deserve more of a story.

I dropped Riverdale near the end of season 2 bc i though the plot and the whole show were falling apart, but if there's one thing that always made sense to me was these 2. I'm not really the shipper type, so i wouldn't really stop watching a show if "my ship" didn't happened, but considering how messy the writing has been from what I've seen, a good development for Barchie would be almost a breath of fresh air, especially considering how annoying the drama between the main four and the main couples has been. We can only hope the writers have the balls to go against bughead fans, even for a short period of time, but then again its CW so...

This is BEAUTIFUL, and a perfect song choice for them. I think it's important for the show to start revealing more about Betty/Archie's history that goes back longer than any other relationship in their lives - as I think it's all gotten lost in the Bughead of it all. It'll be a good starting point in rebuilding the idea of Barchie, and getting more people on board IMO. I mean, I haven't watched Riverdale since Season 2, and watching this vid, I recognized nearly every scene except for the one where Betty is crying in the booth and Archie says they'll get through it together (assuming this is the latest plot development) - so considering we're halfway through season 4, that's kinda sad that for the last 30 episodes or so (a season and a half), Barchie have been seemingly non existent. Anyway, I get they both got caught up in Jug and Ronni, which the writers can use an excuse as to why there seemed to be distance between Barchie, but I hope they rectify this soon! And your video gives me hope :) Maybe I will tune in again, haha.

Now they are a couple in season 6 and are engaged and going to start a family. They depict a true couple they have loved each other since they were kids. They have their arguments like any couple but they talk it out like a true life couple would. Since the beginning he always loved her but he thought he was not good enough for her.
