I’m not gonna start writing about this episode and everything that was wrong with it. KZbin only allows 5000 characters and that way too short.
I’ll just say this one thing Archie was so OCC. and where is all the growth!? Is he still the same guy who thinks with his dck instead of a head or heart? Some of the stuff he said was really hard. It felt completely off.
Anyways no idea if they’ll come back to Barchie and this is just a bump in the road but if it is.. it was very badly executed. END RANT.
The quotes that referred to him being her light in the dark/window were gorgeous tho’. Why do they make it all so endgame if they’re not going there. Why is this ship so gorgeous and the chemistry so goooood!? If it wasn’t I could just move on lol.
Anyways, this song screams them and Barchiefans after this episode. When the party’s over, huh? The party didn’t even really started.
Hope you enjoy this (heartbreaking) video. It definitely calmed me down and reminded me that they’re still a great ship.

This is amazing. Honestly the Riverdale writers need to watch videos like this to remind themselves on what they keeping stuffing around. There's no way Barchie are just friends. Archie seemed so OOC to me this last episode. Not because he still has feelings for Veronica but the way the writers had him so (sort of) dismissive of Betty just didn't add up to what we've been seeing over the last 5 seasons. Especially obvious things such as "Carry the Torch". I have to believe the writers have something in store for Barchie down the track. It's way too early to end the Barchie storyline. They STILL haven't really been explored. Sorry for my rant lol.

Gosh this edit is beautiful. I am really pissed at the writers right now. I hope their breakup will at least make sense. Because the writers never talked about the feelings Archie had for Betty when he wrote her a song. Like that ever happened. As if such strong feelings developed since the beginning disappear just because Veronica comes back. It's just nonsense. The writers have developed Archie and Betty more than any other couple and their chemistry is undeniable and then all of a sudden he decides to put Archie back with Veronica. I'm really tired of this couple and these changes that serve no purpose except to lay the same reheated dish over 4 years. Archie and Veronica don't make sense together! Their relationship was at the end of its rope long before they broke up. And I recall that he dumped her because he had feelings for Betty. I hope with all my heart that this breakup is made to show that they are definitely not made to be together in spite of the time that has passed and that they will never end up together. Even if for my part this point is already clear. I hope that it will allow us to see Archie being jealous if Betty ever moves on. I hope it will once again show that their connection is unmatched. I hope that everyone will finally understand that there is no other end for them but to end up together. I hope they do it right. And that there will be realizations. Especially on Archie's part. And I strongly hope for statements. Anyway if they don't end up together in the end the writers can burn in hell because clearly they don't know love.
