@SuperTruth77, I am so sorry that the church did you dirt that way. God doesn't sort us out by sins. You are so right in saying that the Church has lost its way. Your mum, from what you said about her in your comment, was a wonderful woman who took care of you and your brother in the only way she could. And that Pastor was so wrong in refusing to hold your mum's funeral service because of his norrow-mindedness. Bless you and your brother.

What a sad, pathetic man your 'Pastor' must be.That he seems so easily to take the moral highground.I wonder just how pure of heart and spirit HE is.So sorry you had to endure this, and sorry for your loss.

They should call this coronation death street..lol seriously there is more death on corrie per capital, than on the streets of bagdad..or mogidishu..heart attacks, murder, ect u name it.this street has more funerals, than a funeral home..i think your life expectancy on coronation street is probably less than doing a tour in irau...this is a street of pain..lol

They always wheel out Barlow for these Tributes, where he says how sad it was that an invented character played by an actor actress has died, the line is very blurred between the character ' the invented person who only exists on paper and on screen' and the person who takes on that form, the best actors and actresses are nothing like the characters they play on screen, if they were then they'd only be playing themselves which is not acting. Although some stalwarts end up taking on the persona of the character and start turning into them. This is very disturbing, and shows how easily a simple minded actor can be turned into another person by expert script writer's, the ones who decided what and when the actor says and does

Morally, the pastor WAS in the wrong. Doesn't matter whether it was legal or not.

Really? You do realise the Pastor has every right to refuse to do anything on the basis of morality. I'm gay btw but I'm just saying, they're not in the wrong here. Ps. Sorry for your loss.

Betty was the only mainstream character who only never really had any proper storylines, just quick nonsense stories that nobody cared about. She was really just a regular background character.
