Betty did some good dancing in this. It had been 20years since she worked with Berkely in an Eddie Cantor movie. I think Betty was an underrated dancer and singer during her career. Today would be her 103 Birthday!

Well, you won't believe me, but my grandfather, Lou Spencer is the sailor that was dancing next to Betty Grable at the 3 minute mark (3rd dancer from the left). Sad, because he died before I was born; but at least I get to see him this way.

My Great Uncle Jesse Mendelson (a dancer) was credited somewhere in this movie....2 years before he died.... Don't know which part of movie.

Betty Grable was not just a great set of legs and a tapper ... she was a great hoofer as well. A woman after my own heart. Also, I like the musical reference to "Salt Peanuts" at 4:45 . Thanks for posting

This entire movie is so much fun.. I remember it from tv when I was a kid and I loved this number! Just got it on dvd. Which girl was your mother? Did she like working with Grable and Busby Berkely?

this was on Fox Movie Channel 4/7/11 @ 6:00 AM and we happened to be watching and saw something really neat that is in this clip. At 3:23 in this clip you will see the quartet of sailors "moonwalking" 7 years before mj was even born. he may have polished up what they did here but he did not invent it... Just sayin'. From Fox Movie Chan schedule it will be on again next month May 12, 2011 8:00 am ET May 30, 2011 2:00 pm ET, May 30, 2011 6:00 am ET
