Yes, Dr. Nelson in fact studied voice at Northwestern and trained as a Lyric Soprano so yes her voice does have coloratura properties. Dr. Nelson has trained Nikki Ross of Houston for years...Much of Nikki's control and interpretation come from Bettye

You need to hear how the song finishes. Rose Marie Rimson Brown gets a piece at the end. It was powerful and sad at the same. The girls had to view their mom for the last time. And dress her for the closing of the casket. Twinkie has to be held up by 2 people. Denise couldn’t take it and walked off and Dorinda and Karen just lost it. Jackie was strong as usual and Leo as well.
