Quick corrections on this video: 1) hybrid cannibalize more than clarias 2) clarias eat more than hybrids but food conversion rate is higher in hybrids 3) hybrids are more of bottom feeders, as such you have less waste. 4) hybrids withstand sickness better that clarias 5) The reason people prefer them to clarias is because the flesh tissues are stronger than that of clarias.

You can have 8 or 10 by 14 ft for each 700 or 1000 fish.

you can't use hybrid to produce hybrid fingerlings, you can only use heterobranchus to cross clarias and produce hybrid fingerlings.

Do hybrid survive on concrete pond and also grow well like earth pond, because I think I want to go for hybrid fish this next month because I am tried of clarias fish morality. I bought 4550 post fingerlings clarias fish last 2 weeks and everyday I keep on facing high level of morality everyday, I am sure I have only less than 1k+ fishes left.
