Really appreciate having yor first hand account about the shocking flooding events. As for the Astra, it's a nicely designed watch, but I'm a little disappointed with the small quality issues you mentioned. I also agree with you that the lume is a but much. Overall, I think I prefer a design that is just a bit less safe of takes more or a stance. I'd like to compare it to my white faced Max Bill. Also a very neutral watch, but somehow that just makes a stronger design impression in spite of offering even less details. When we start playing with lume, elaborate hands, applied indices, I think I would prefer ending up with something that feels less neutral. Meanwhile my Max Bill is as ever the chameleon and strap monster for just about every occasion.

I am rather confident lorier refuses to use sapphire not because of the reason they say, but because it's cheaper to refuse to do sapphire.
