I've been considering dropping out of my program because I could not understand this concept. THANK YOU for saving my future. You are amazing!

These instructions saved me hours of stress over my dissertation. Thank you so much Miss Charlie, really well explained and so great to have the examples of the write-up from the analyses shown. Thank you :)!!!

Thanks for your effort , could i use between subjects repeated measures anova for two groups comparisons with 3 repeated measures. Or to use t test and repeated measures separately.

There are some tutorials explaining how to perform a 2-way split-plot ANOVA in SPSS. I suppose that to perform a 3-way split-plot ANOVA (2 between-subjects factors and 1 within-subjects factor) it is enough to add "the second" between-subjects factor. However, I do not know if it is possible to get a "traditional" ANOVA Table with the sums of squares, dfs, means squares, f and p-values of all factors and residuals. If it is not possible in SPSS, is there any other software that does this?

Hello Dr. Hibbert, Thank you very much for your detailed explanation. If I may have a question, can I also apply your exact same steps when I have unequal sample sizes? My independent variable would be classroom instruction. I have three groups of participants who will receive explicit (N=10), implicit (N=9), and no instruction (control group, N=14]. My dependent variable would be their scores of pre-test, immediate post-test, and delayed post-test. I am also having between-subject and within-subject designs. Thanks in advance, Dr. Hibbert.

Yes different sample sizes are accounted for in a between subjects ANOVA - but you would not have different sample sizes in a within subjects (repeated measures) ANOVA - because the population should be the same for both conditions.

Hello Everyone! If you like this video - you have got to check out my video on conceptualizing t-tests (dependent and independent) and ANOVAs (between and within). It is a super easy way to begin to understand why we choose different tests to run and what the tests are measuring. check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooLafqejr9JqhMU
