I love the first album the most still to this day, and even though blake is a beast, the drumming on here is so awesome and visceral, hammering the breakdowns and fills, love it

@@mistamontiel00 that’s the way the drums always were you just didn’t have the clarity before. The kick and snare were/are sound replaced and the rack toms were live sounds

I completely forgot how heavy this was, I was 16, the S/T had just come out and I don't think I'd heard anything like it. I'd love to have known where Paul was coming from influence wise in this period.
