Those low growls are really challenging to do, especially night after night on tour. I've seen Tommy use a higher scream in place of them on a few different occasions. I think with BTBAM's dedication to damn near note for note perfection in live performances, he probably wouldn't want to do anything in the studio that he can't consistently do live these days.

As a FOH guy, I would be pissed and so scared that during one of their more famous song/sets the sound completely cuts out for the entire band.
