블락비의 말 그대로 특별한, 스페셜 싱글 ‘YESTERDAY’
지난해 4월 ‘Blooming Period’로 블락비만의 감성을 내세우며 넓은 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여준 블락비가, 약 10개월 만에 스페셜 싱글 ‘YESTERDAY’로 돌아왔다.
리더 지코가 블락비의 수장이었다면, 이번 스페셜 싱글 앨범에서는 박경이 바통을 이어받았다. ‘믿고 듣는 박경’이라는 말이 생길 정도로, 솔로 앨범을 통해 탄탄히 대중성과 음악성을 쌓아올린 박경은 ‘YESTERDAY’로 이번엔 ‘펑크 블락비’를 완성시켰다.
‘YESTERDAY’는 셔플 리듬을 기반으로 한 얼터너티브 펑크스타일로, 여우 같지만 마치 곰인척하는 여자친구의 모습에 늘 불안함을 느끼는 남자의 입장과 시선을 재치 있고, 통통 튀는 가사로 풀어 낸 인상적인 곡이다.
‘박경표 연애 송’에 블락비 멤버들의 개성 넘치는 랩과 산뜻함이 물씬 풍기는 보컬이 얹어지며 ‘블락비표 러브송’으로 완성했다.

They are a very versatile group. they have done many different concepts. They are kinda a crazy cute but badass group. I don't know if it makes sense. Other of their title tracks are Nillili Mambo, Very Good and Nalina are more badass hip-hop inspired songs. HER is definitely a cute pop funky song. Jackpot has the circus inspire thing. It is more pop-ish as well. Toy and a Few Years Later and Be The Light are a more slow-tempo songs. The MVs had a sad feel to it. It was their last official comeback. They also had a very good Japanese song called My Zone that mixes a lot of genres like trap, pop with a funky feel to it. ANyways, they said themselves Block B fits the crazy cute concept the best and that is why they made a sub-unit called BASTARZ which has a more strong concept for their title tracks like Conduct Zero or Make It Rain. Also this song was made by Park Kyung. He also has some solo songs. He is known for his cute concept songs. If you liked this song you may like his solo songs as well like Inferiority Complex, Ordinary Love or When I'm With You. There is also another song made by Kyung in Block B's last album called "Walkin' in the Rain". It reminds me of this song, you may like it as well :3 Their said tracks are amazing as well: Nice Day, Joke, Mental Breaker, Bingle Bingle, etc.

There are actually 3 rappers in Block B. But the rapper line also sings. As you probably already know the rapper at 0:57 is Zico. The rapper at 1:37 is P.O. And there is also another rapper (he doesn't rap in this song) which is Park Kyung which is the one at 0:08 (he starts the song). And yeah they are all very good rappers. They have been rapping since before debut. All 3 rappers have mixtapes.

As an older BBC that know all their strugle and how hard was to get here and how much underrated they are internationally, seeying so many lovable messages of support and praise both in korean and other languages makes me really thankfull and glad. Our fandom is really small but we love them a lot! For most BBCS they are dear friends we cheerish and support as much as we can. They aint perfect but for us they are great.
