Exactly and the cast still couldn't cometo terms with the loss of Luke. I can understand why Ian didn't want to talk much about it. Maybe later on they will talk more but you can tell by the silent vibe that they are still hurt by his loss, same with Jason and Brian.

Jake - I really applaud you, you asked an extremely tough question in regards to the passing of Luke Perry; the guys asked not to talk about it - and you didn't press further. I feel as if most journalists would try to push the envelope a bit further to elicit some sort of emotion or "byte" - but you acknowledged Ian's wishes and pain, and moved on to another question. Well done.

I think he should have asked them before the interview began if they wished to discuss it. If they said yes, then it’s fine to ask the question. If they say no, you don’t ask. I don’t think the question should have been asked personally.

I totally agree with Brian i was a teenager in the 90s and we did get away with alot back then. We did have simpler times and it was awesome. My kids were born with the internet etc and i am glad i didn't have the internet etc in my teens. Love and miss Luke too

@@Heartboy1031 Very true for the most part. But in the mid-late 90's the internet was definitely becoming a 'thing' for teenagers. Many started to spend hours and hours on it...not to mention the video games were getting better too. In fact even in the early 90's me and my friends use to play video games for like a couple hours. But, of course, we also then went and PLAYED OUTSIDE. Although I get how young kids don't do that nowadays...their parents won't let them if they're too young. And not everyone wants their parents supervising them when playing together outside. They'd rather just be inside if that's the case.

The cast recently lost another member of the 90210 family. Joe E. Tata who played Nat, the owner of the Peach Pit. Jason posted a pretty moving tribute to Joe on Twitter. It's easy to see these people really love each other off the set as well. I heard Luke and Jennie were the first to reach out to Shannen when she went public with her breast cancer.

Maybe you never went through that and that’s why it’s easy for you to judge. But it’s still common sense. Shouldn’t even have to be explained. The word “fake” that you used isn’t even the correct word. The right word is grief. Learn something.

It is funny. As they sat there, even without saying a word, just by observing there clothes. They embody their characters. Brian is dressed edge with the ripped jeans as David would do. Ian with the pristine white shirt/pants paired with a blazer evokes Steve rich upbringing and Jason more business like but still cool with the dark blazer and boots reminds me of Brandon when he was in college. They will always be associated with their characters because so much of their personality created their tv personas. So sad to see this wo the beloved Luke Perry /Dylan McKay.

Luke will be missed a lot in the show by fans not just the cast. I feel he is in a way looking out for Shannon still. I read somewhere due to Luke passing God rest his soul Shannon decided to return to the show to honour him. That is so nice and touching. Shannon is an incredible actress. Not just with bh90210 did the heart leave it when she she left but I felt the same with charmed after she was killed off. The show rallied to have another hallowel sister a secret one they knew nothing of so they still had the power of three etc but it felt forced to me. The dynamic was not the same.

In my opinion I think they should just leave this show alone and let it live for its own identity and sake. Its a teen night soap of the 90s?? Why can't they let it rest in peace? And have this show live on and remain teen night soap. Reviving the cast and letting it continue only makes it loose its value. Its time these actors find other shows to do. Who wants to watch the same cast and show and still follow their same drama that never ends. Let this show rest!!!! Move on to the future and do shows that are new and insightful not some middle aged crisis drama. Lets keep moving forward and focus on new things.
