Beverly Hills Cop II is my favorite simply because I’m a hardcore Tony Scott fan. I think the first is the best, but as far as having fun I’m taking Tony Scott’s film over the others.

BH2 is my favorite. I like the guest appearances and hilarious cons Eddie would run to manipulate people into getting him what he wants. Whether it's a free house for the weekend or access to someone's office, Eddie was able to flip like a light switch and become a different character. BH1 has the best story but it had some corny characters. BH3 = trash

As a huge 80s action movie fan, I’m surprised it took me this long to coming around to watching this trilogy. I binged it this past weekend and the first two are like exactly what I look for in an 80s action comedy.

My ranking: 2, 1, 3. 2 is my favorite because of the filmmaking, the action, the music (I bought the soundtrack for it) & the chemistry between Axel, Billy & Taggart. It just felt like a feel-good movie to me.

Beverly Hills Cop is my favorite trilogy. None of the 3 films are terrible. I'm entertained by the entire trilogy. No major problems with any of the films. But I will say that Beverly Hills Cop 3 is the weakest of the trilogy. My favorite of the trilogy is Beverly Hills Cop 1, a Platinum standard certification rating followed closely by Beverly Hills Cop 2. Overall, one of the better trilogies I've ever seen.

All 3 movies are fun, Eddie is a legend, but the sequels are forgetable and as i remember i liked part 3 more than part 2 for some reason, haven't seen them in a long time! But can't wait for Coming 2 America

Exactly how I would rank them. But with the new movie Axel F, my ranking of the BHC movies and TV Pilot episode are 1. BHC 2. Axel F 3. BHC II 4. BHC TV Pilot 5. BHC III

No comment on the other 2 films. Glad you liked them. LOL But BHC 1 is my favorite EDDIE MURPHY film because it’s the FIRST film where he was a Leading Man and he OWNED IT! People think lead characters are Leading Men/Women. They’re not. It takes PRESENCE and Eddie had it in that film.

I think about doing that from time to time, but honestly it only gets me in trouble the more I give objective scores. I don't know any critics that actually lives giving scores, and it's almost entirely because people use the information against the critic. I'll be having a conversation with someone sharing my nuanced thoughts on a film and they'll go, "Yeah but in this review you gave it this score." It's tough to explain, but I actively don't like giving scores for that reason. I'll talk about a movie for 10 minutes in a review, but then they'll use my final score and compare it with some other movies final score and ignore all the specifics I said about each.

My ranking: Beverly Hills Cop 1: The best one in the series and one of the greatest action/comedy films of the 80’s with a killer soundtrack! Beverly Hills Cop 2: Enjoyable sequel and better action sequences directed by visual iconic director Tony Scott and another killer soundtrack. Gil Hill as Inspector Todd is more hilarious in this film. When Taggart falls in the pool it’s make me weak every time I watch this movie 😂😂😂😂 Beverly Hills Cop 3: Definitely the weakest one in the series. John Landis direction and Murphy lifeless performance didn’t help the movie. Can’t wait for the new one coming out in July!

Steven Berkoff was an interesting choice to play the villian in the first movie. He has that creepy Silence of the Lambs Anthony Hopkins aspect to his character and if anything Hopkins would've been a perfect fit to play Victor Maitland for sure. From what I understand Steven Berkoff went onto say that he didn't like the movie.

I watched 3 again recently and it wasn’t that bad. I like how it’s different than the 1st two and the love interest as well. If it had Taggart I’d put it above the 2nd one

So last summer season 1 of monkie kid was released and now that season 2's pilot came out , I thought you could give your thoughts on season 1 .
