There is a REAL opportunity for a designer to do a line of dresses that address the issues older women have with their upper arms. Having them covered with a short sleeve length and also a -to the elbow length would make a HUGE difference in presenting an older bride at her most beautiful.
@devong71242 жыл бұрын
Three quarters length sleeves look good on all brides of any age. Classy. Older women are still young at heart. Don't have to dress old. You are right. They need more/ better dresses for mature ladies and young ladies with oversized bust. Oversized bust do need straps.
@angelbulldog49342 жыл бұрын
Even in my twenties, I didn't like strapless. Everybody wants to dress like a pole dancer or a streetwalker. Why even bother with a wedding dress? Just go to Victoria's Secret and buy some pretty lingerie. Dignity, decorum, and good taste have left the building.

Really great comment, I so agree. Actually, sadly due to a doctor (MD) who said I had Lupus at age 22, which I did not, and then proceeded to overdose me on steroids I have striae or scars on my skin on my arms and elsewhere, so the beautiful "Eve of Milady" dress I tried on at Kleinfeld's when it was in Brooklyn, NY, had sheer, puff sleeves. I re-designed the sleeves to be Cinderella ballgown sleeves and lace on the forearm down to a French cuff (tapers to the ring finger). It looked magnificent with the white, organza, very full skirt and tight, corset top with Basque waist and Swarovski crystals and tiny pearls all over the bodice! I agree that you should find (or make) a dress that works for you. I liked the second dress she had on the best with the veil that covered her arms too!

@@tostamixtabifana97 you're so right! I'm well past retirement age now and I'm not insulted if somebody thinks I'm old. It's actually quite an honor.

Don’t like the “price” policy, a lot of people have a budget, not fair to put them in a dress above their budget.

This is so unfair to the bride. ALL brides have some sort of budget even if they say it is unlimited. The only thing she could have said is this is my budget please don't show me anything over this price point.

If I went to a store & they refused to tell me the price of the dresses before I tried them on I would walk out & go to a different bridal shop

the 98$ dress looked better than most dresses in that store

Omg! The more I watch the more disgusted I become!! Why would you not tell your customer how much a dress is that they could fall in love with!? What if she can't afford it!? Smh. Not smart business lady.

Every dress she gave her to try was a sample from the sales rack. She just didn't want the bride to choose solely on price, as she did her first $98 dress. I love a good bargain too, but if I was super sensitive on price, the Beverly Hills bridal store is not where I would be shopping anyway.

I just Googled what happened to this wedding shop. Apparently the owner lost a legal dispute with her own employees and then didn't pay the half million judgement she owed. The sheriff came in and cleaned out the entire inventory to sell and satisfy the debt. No more shop.

sounds well deserved if that's true.. I mean... If she is that shitty in front of the tv, imagine how she is irl behind cameras...

That happened in 2011. Unfortunately, she’s back to old tricks now.

Good, glad the sheriff ceased all her stock!! I can see why she went under, tacky overpriced gowns and don't get me wrong, I love gay people but Kevin is just so frigging annoying and not FABULOUS at all!! 😕😕
