I lost my mother when I was 16, it's been 18 years now.. When I thought I lost the sound of her voice in my memory, whenever I listen to this song it reminds me how she speak and sings.. This song helped me relive the memories and her voice. It still hurts like yesterday, I was so young and carefree. Losing her at very young age hurts even more. Even in my dreams I wish I could date her, could buy her favorite food, clothes, cook for her. If only I could trade everything I have just to listen to her voice and laugh again. Yes I am in Australia in April lockdown but this very young lady has stolen my heart with that beautiful voice. So I will leave it there as it can never broken there as in two previous sadly failed marriages and that Will keep my 2 girls happy as no one stealing their single dad of the last 20 years. Wish I could wake up to find, today was just a bad dream, it was still the glorious wonderful 80's. Music like this was so different then. Written from the heart, performed with real emotion and passion, with performers who could really play and write great melodies. People were in general much nicer, and we all had proper jobs. This song is timeless, haunting and beautiful, just like the Lady. Thank you for sharing a real classic.
