A more in-depth tutorial on schedules would be a great topic for more seasoned users of Bevy :)

Awesome stuff. Thanks for the video. Think this finally pushes Bevy to the top of the list of engines I was considering for the game I'm developing.

Really liked the video, even faster coverage than GamesFromScratch :D Im using Rust for about 2 years now, and I tinkered with bevy a fair bit, but the biggest downside for me - someone who want to create 3d games - is not having a editor to create a scene in. Yes, I can define every Object in code... But for me that is not the solution. I saw that a editor is the one the next big things for the next release, so really looking forward to this. Also very much looking forward to more videos from you on the new improvements, really like your style of presentation.

Thank you! I think he just got his video out but I was excited to be the first. bevy_editor_pls might be a solution to 3d scene design but it's an early prototype still

I might spend some time getting the git repo updated but the videos will just start to rot overtime

I hope they add things like light baking and global illumination probes and reflection probes. I want to make high performance games for platforms with little gpu performance like mobile and this is necessary in order to make games with good looking graphics

A lot of performance stuff in this release for sure. Seems like they are really getting the API nailed down at this point. Now's probably the perfect time for people to be diving in. Any idea when the python interface will be added? That's what will bring people here, then they'll learn Rust in time. Tease 'em with the python, then say "oh, compute shaders - you need Rust for that" hehe

Huh. So the main port task will be using the next stage resource?

They have a long migration guide in the release notes. From what I've heard people aren't having a hard time and the guide is well made
