Did the fact that the boat is a Springer with a V shaped hull make it more vulnerable to tipping over ?

Good question. Not necessarily, although V shaped hulls are well known to roll more than flat bottom hulls. We cannot be sure of the exact reason that this boat rolled, but I think that it would have been just very unfortunate for the owners in terms of how it got caught on the cill...

@ lol my pet hates forced adverts like sky news app videos and music on KZbin “engineering” type vids. Would prefer hearing grinders, welders,compressors etc. even worse is the colonials and their guitar riffs over everything, dumbing down, that’s why Ed left wheeler dealers. Hate it, yes I’m aware of the mute button and missing the dialogue in between non essential music. 😂

How do you get caught on the Cill with a 35' narrowboat? What is wrong with people?

@ I saw similar minutes after it happened on the K&A. Solo lady not paying attention on her phone. Her scream got some attention but too late, bow down sunk.
