YES! I recommended this ages ago!! GARASADAE is Korean for "as He said" but kinda old text. So in the bible "As God said" is written using this word. BeWhy is very religious so he mentions a lot of God and the nature of man and sin in his songs. He's Christian btw. He was the winner of the Korean rap audition show "Show me the Money" season 5 (2016). Which I know you'd also love :) it's a rap competition!

Gottasadae is an older way of saying “say” but it’s usually found in the Bible like “sayeth” or similar but it has power to it. Like “God says” he’s basically saying he’s a deity speaking to the masses.

I'm late to the party, but thought I would join in. BeWhy (pronounced just as it is: Be why) is a Christian rapper and probably the best rapper in S. Korea. Like Kpop artist Taemin of SHINee, BeWhy incorporates his Christian faith into much of his music. I recently watched your reaction to Taemin's & BeWhy's collab song for the show "The Call", titled "Pinnochio" from 2018. That was the first time Taemin and BeWhy met and they soon discovered they had a lot in common and became instant friends. They wrote the song, Pinnochio together for the show in two weeks. During that time, Taemin told BeWhy that he had a beautiful tone to his voice and he should try singing. BeWhy was stunned, as he was a rapper. However, Taemin actually got BeWhy to sing for the first time on the song Pinnochio. The other hosts on "The Call" were stunned. Therefore, it was nice to hear BeWhy to actuall sing in "Challan", which came out a year after "Pinnochio". Taemin also recently mentioned that BeWhy helped him with his rapping section in their newest release, "Hard". It was so good to hear that they still keep in touch.

Idk WHY he romanized the word “가라사대” like *this* (Gottasadae), but its basically the Korean equivalent of “Simon says.” Hence, the hook goes “Bewhy gottasadae,” meaning “Bewhy says” instead of “Simon says.”
