Larry Tate was my favorite character on Bewitched after Samantha and (the first) Darrin; he never fails to crack me up with his unctuous behavior towards clients or bewildered reactions to all the witchcraft shenanigans that seem to happen whenever he's around Samantha or Darrin. 😂😂 There's a reason why he appeared in more Bewitched episodes than any other cast member except for the two leads (or should I say three leads being that Darrin was played by two actors).

These selections did well to showcase the character of Larry Tate and his attitude towards “business”! David White was a great choice and acted with great finesse, subtlety and charm. He was a wonderful actor and complimented Darrin’s neuroses perfectly with his singular focus on making money, money, money. A great writing team put out wonderful scripts focusing on these three leads -Elizabeth Montgomery, Dick York, David White! The fourth wheel was not part of these threes’ trials and tribulations, but managed to augment the couple, Darrin and Samantha, so there was always that unknown oddity in their marriage, Larry Tate couldn’t grasp. Agnes Moorehead was the perfect “mother-in-law” and uncertain 4th wheel in many of the storylines. I miss this series everyday! Bewitched was and always will be a classic, of the times, “sit-com”, that was loved and extra special bc of all the components that went into making it a success for 9 years in the early years of colorized TV shows. 👍🥰💗♥️

The series on DVD is a great investment for the entire family. Mine came with no laugh track which (pun?) makes it so much more enjoyable. Ditto for mash and Beverly Hillbillies and Mr Ed. I think it's a little luxury that pays for itself everytime it's watched, rewatched, and well loved.

McMann was on two different episodes each time played by a different actor, "Man of the Year" in 1968, and "What Makes Darrin Run" in 1970.
