There are new features in this new Beyblade X app to help you earn points even faster, like battling in the virtual game, Shoot Gym, or practicing launches. I know this video is from a couple months ago, but is there any good VPNs that you guys recommend using to have access to this app on a smartphone? I've been thinking of getting the battle pass soon and trying this out eventually. I know I might have to start over when the English release comes (if there is gonna be an English release). But I still would like try out the current only existing Japanese version, just I know what to expect from the English version and so that I already have some experience with the app and that I know what I'm doing when I get the English version.

Scan codes are on the inside flap of the boxes. So you can't do it without tearing open the packaging, which isn't that easy to get away with.

You’re product is probably from Hong Kong and they haven’t updated the app to accept Hong Kong codes, you’re going to have to wait until November or sometime in fall

You could possibly have Hong Kong released versions. They will have sticker labels on the back or front. Hong Kong versions need to be scanned with the Hong Kong version of the app.

@@DragonoidForm I later found out that it was a Hong Kong version. But to answer your question there was a little shiny blue sticker with a QR code on the box next to the takara tomy logo and on the back there was a giant red sticker that was written in mandarin

I haven't actually brought from them myself yet (so I'm not trying super hard to defend them) but I am curious if they and other second hand retailers just got their hands on whatever/the HK variants when X was just coming out and shortages of the Japan editions, but now maybe have phased out of them? Could be worth asking their support (and/or if you can't refund/exchange, maybe like some their other listing were they say you could get rather a TT edition or other Eastern edition of the bey you buy, that should be that discloser on X/new stuff now)

If your product boxes have stickers on them, they're likely Hong Kong variants, meaning they will only scan from HK versions of the app.

There is a issue for Android users trying to use the app. A error code comes up every time when you try and scan your QR code. I tried it with 5 different beys same error every time.

Update on this post it won't let you scan beyblades that come from China. It has to ship directly from japan.

If you can get your beys from somewhere that gets them and ships from japan then you can get Drake from the app. But even if you won Drake you still have to find a way to ship it from a Japanese Address to somewhere outside of Japan.

Check to see if your product is a Japan release from other parts of Asia. You might need to download the localized eg Hong Kong/Taiwan.. app to scan in the code for the corresponding release.

My assumption here is that even if i were to scan n redeem all my point now on this japanese version of the app, i might b able to transfer my stuff to the US version of the app when it becomes availabel. Just a guess tho, so i'm still holding off from scanning the rest of my qr codes. For now, i'll just keep farming app these daily/weekly challenges to stock up on points until global release

I actually do have the app now but actually haven't gone into it at all and I've had my x bey stuff ready to ship for awhile (yeah I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out how to get it) I'm not sure about you (sorry not saying this in a rude manner), but I really badly want Cobalt Drake and the gold HellScythe. I missed out on Burst entirely so I'm not sure the likelihood or just how long we'll have to wait for not just the app localized but also prize beys (sorry I'm trying to not write a novel) so I would like the app now and my shot at them. I know the next thing is then actually physically getting it/shipping, another bey Tuber recommended Tenso, but I'm still looking into how it works. Also some discord communities (bey or general toy collectors, ayyy shout out to you as another Bakugan fan 😎) and possibly any mutuals overseas/in Japan could proxy.

Just to reiterate what I said, since I tend to write long responses too: if u do miss out but still want it n hav $300-600 to spare, u can probably buy a cobalt drake now in some online stores. I saw some listings today for $500-ish (I'd share the name of the site if I could, but I think mentioning that is what deleted my 2 replies 😅). It's price point is insane when compared to black phantom orion (it was priced at $500 as well back in the day but only had 100 of them ever made; I doubt that TT would limit only 100 cobalt drake when so many ppl in Japan bought the battlepass n earned points via the purchase of beyblade or doing weekly challenges, so $500 is not justifiable imo. For me, I also want cobalt drake, but imma sit this one out n w8 for the midfake version to come

Without English localisation and direct shipping, this Beyblade Battle Pass will be nothing more than a niche gadget for collectors. 😅 The application looks and performs really smoothly, but as you say, definitely not something you need to buy. They were quickly out of stock at the very beginning of the release, but most sites/resellers have them pretty decently stocked now. It's just still, jumping through many hoops being outside Japan and getting the full utility from the pass/app until TT proves better accessibility
