When the villains win in Beyblade... Beyblade dad theory

Everyone loves the main characters, but they wouldn't be themselves without the bad guys. I mean...Tell me right now who the most memorable characters of the Beyblade burst series are, and I bet you'd be stuck between the main cast of characters or their counterparts; you know, the more edgy, always want to yell at you and break your bey kinda guys. Well, today the bad guys, or villains in Beyblade will get their retribution! Because not only did some of these characters deserve to have more screen time, arc development and a possibility of recurrence, but as we all know most of them never did. To be specific, I'll be talking about Red Eye, Phi, Hyde, Arthur Percival, Lain Valhalla, and Phenomeno Pain. Unlike other anime that I watch, where their villains are going out and killing people, THEY are usually malicious in nature, evil entities, or have psycho personalities, but what can we say? Some of us just want the bad guys to win. I know I've liked quite a few like Vegeta, Lui and Bakugo! Well, just like Kachaan can be misunderstood, they don't hold an evil intent, per se. it's more personal. The villains role in the Beyblade series has not been to eradicate the world, nor to subdue everyone to their will...okay maybe Arthur may have thought about it, but clearly he was missing skills, screws and a clear direction. When we talk about Villains in the Beyblade Burst show, we are basically talking about an antagonist. The difference being the evil they do..
When it comes to evil, there's different levels, I guess and if there's a scale of evil.. let's face it, these bladers aren't even registered on it..
Experimenting on kids is horrendous, and im not going to gloss over the fact that in a quest for power Ashtem used bladers, including Shu Kurenai that was only 11 at the time; to manipulate him through brain washing, and implementing rigorous training in the Requiem project.
The baddies in the show can be considered antagonists, no more than stepping stones, punching bags, or plot devices as villains, they don't fit the "typical evil persona".
What happens if they win?

Letting Phi win would most definitely be a huge problem in the burst series. He would cause so much destruction and it would take a lot of force to defeat him. I also think that letting Gwynn win would mean that he never finds out the answer he wanted so maybe he’d go on to create the strongest beyblade until he finds his answer.

Yeah because the Requiem project would be complete as Ashtom said. And I think since Red Eye got WAY stronger after every fight he won with Spryzen Requiem, it would mean that he would be an absolute god after winning this last battle. And he would still get stronger by every fight he wins (which he does a lot) and so he would become literally undefeatable building even stronger Beys every generation. No matter how strong you are, he would just destroy your Bey with 1 or 2 hits as he did with Golden Eye.

Does anyone remember Naoki from season 1. In my opinion he is the best beyblade villain. I liked season 1 because of how realistic it is yet it was still able to be well written and make us care about the events. Naoki did actually pose a threat to our heroes. He was established later in burst because by that point the audience already felt for the main characters. If Naoki won then all that training and effort would've been usless Yes vault looses anyways but season one wasn't about then destination. It was the journey the took to get there. It wasn't about winning it was about having fun. I think to have good antagonists beyblade needs a pair. One brain and one brawn Take doji and ryuga from metal fight. Ryuga was nothing without doji. If it wasn't for him he never would've gotten L Drago in the first place. But there was no way doji could ever beat Gingka In a battle. Naoki us kind of an exception because he could play with valt emotionally and Cause him to mess up his launch. Or rig up a machine to blind shu to Cause him to mess up. An honestly he served as valt's pure opposite. He relied on tactics and gadgets instead of skill and passion. And since he wasn't actually a good blader as soon as valt and shu saw threw his scemes they won.

While going through episodes, I did want to include him, but in order to keep the time down I trimmed a few ideas😅 you're right though, I think the idea of having two antagonists or a team of them makes it more interesting to watch too, it's a bigger obstacle for our main cast🤔

I think Season 1 Lui was the most threatening villain since he literally hurt Shu in the Cup before and still laughed at him. Then he almost hurt Valt and still laughed. He seemed like he had no emotions and would even kill you to win.

You forgot one thing while their dark aura keeps stronger Valt's resonance with Valkyrie also becomes stronger and the rainbow flux also existed that instead of Dante achieving it maybe Valt could do it and stop the antagonist, since the stronger you embrace your bey the stronger you get like how the antagonist embraces the dark aura they become stronger. So it's still possible for Valt to defeat the antagonist and even if Valkyrie can't evolve because Taiga won't help Valt, Raul is still there to help evolve Valkyrie. Valt may even create Ultimate Valkyrie earlier but with only 4 Valkyries just to stop the antagonist and stop the evil capitalism of Ashtem.

I love this video! Good theory crafting. However, there would be a few changes I would make. 1. Everything would be as you said up until Turbo. While Hyde would welcome an alliance with Shu and Snakepit, Phi would not. Phi would not only wipe out Hyde as he did, but Shu and all of Snakepit would have been destroyed by Phi, making him even more powerful than he was at the end of Turbo. Phi would have then shattered Valt, Free, Shu, and anyone else, becoming the champ. This would have propelled Phi to also take out everyone in Surge, including Arthur and Gwen, until being defeated by Dante. 2. The WBBA would have set new restrictions at the beginning of Rise, which Lain would have tried to crush, but without guidance from Shu, Lain would have been just an out of control blader like Phi, giving fully into his darkness. This actually would cause Valt to train the twins and their beys would have evolved not once, but twice, to eventually destroy Lain's beyblade for good. 3. In Quaddrive, Rashad would not have copied Valtryek as his bey, but Spryzen instead, making Salvage Spryzen. However, this wouldn't satisfy him. Instead of Glory Ragnar, he would have made something called The High King/The High Emperor Beyblade, putting himself over absolutely everyone!

QOTD: After losing to Lui and having his blade break, ashtem probably scouted Shu and used the sadness and anger Shu felt as strings to manipulate Shu. After losing to Nightmare Longinus with Legend Spriggan, Shu was basically still angry and having angst. With kids at 11~12, it's easy to manipulate their emotions and get them to do what you want. Ashtem is basically what a creepy adult would be if beyblade wasn't for kids

Burst is already a really great show, if it had your ideas for plot, then it would have an even greater plot than Metal which I think has the best plot out of the 3 generations and have a better ending than the OG, but burst isn’t over yet, if you watch it in dub, I really hope there’s a really good ending to the series and isn’t like the one from the metal series, btw plot and ending are 2 separate things

Here is what i think would happen if the villains won: *Beyblade burst- not much to say cause lui won. *Beyblade burst evolution: here would start the problem . I think ashtem was always the vilain the real threat. So pretending that theodore is shu cause he uses him as a pawn, won, ha bye bye blading world *Beyblade burst turbo: valt wants to upgrade his bey, aiga joins in you know the drill. but this time it isnt shu who helps save the day. Its of course phi who corrupts aiga and i think that shu might just help. And now its alt that saves the day. And now only aiga is teaming with valt *Beyblade burst rise: drum joins valt and aiga, arthur would most likely join theodore, but i another threat comes : gwyn. (idk i just thought it would be a cool turn since im like rewriting it lol) So now we got gwyn arthur phi shu and the whole snake pit organisation against valt & aiger & drum. *Beyblade burst surge: Same thing hyuga and hikaru join the good ones, lain joins the bad guys. *Beyblade burst quad drive: rashad: bad guys bel: good guys oh and for all the seasons the protgonists did get upgrades for their beys i just didnt talk about it. BEYBLADE SEASON 7 SPOILERS And you also got me thinking about the 7 season i know we dont have a lot of information but i guess quadra (main character) and her brother Pax + boys will finally win saying that they also lost in season 6. (-i might edit this comment if season 7 is out fully and we get to see more updates and details -)

Not everyone likes the main character, in fact I like the character hyde and arthur

Honestly had phi or Arthur won they would put themselves out of the jobs because break Beyblades and respect for others mean fewer and fewer bladers mean no Beyblade world

I love burst but to be honest the antagonists were literally handled very poorly in the entire show

Yeah I agree! I always wish that Theodore Glass could have remained as an antagonist working in the shadows and produce more evil bladers... not necessarily someone who just wants to break beys.. but sall good, I still enjoy the shows (for the most part) thanks for watching and leaving a comment ✌️
