(On approved websites, it says you'll see him in season 2) 👍 And if u noticed in every anime/show If someone is 120% dead. They would say that he is DEAD. Nothing else. But for Gilbert it was "missing in action" which means he is alive. Then when Gilbert got shot and injured in battle his body was never found. Only his dog tag as well as when u watch the last episode of season one u see violet smile and tear up a little. As if she hasn't seen someone she loves and missed in years...it also ended on a cliffhanger which rlly broke my heart.

Malec2Nightingale I think he's alive. In the last episode when Violet's letter was being read in a field of violets there was a drop of water and a light. I personally believe it was the major out there with a lantern reading her letter and then called for her at the end of the last episode. Just my opinion 😶

Violets story is a sad one . But a beautiful one. She lost someone she loved and hold dear. She also lost something that was apart of her. Her arms that can never be replaced. But she managed to fight the past and try to move forward. She didn’t know what life was as a kid , cuz she was used as a tool for the battlefield. The biggest tragedy in her life were does wars , but with them she learned how to become an actual person. And realized that she will not become a tool for others. That she will continue to live and do her best.
