Love the song, it takes you back a lil, I’m sure some of the best dj’s will remix the hell out of this cut. I hope the album gives a lil bit of everything.

It’s not a bad song but its not the best song either. So I do understand what Tony is saying. When it comes to a lead single. “Break My Soul” is not giving the same energy that all of Beyoncé’s previous leading singles give. And I know a lot of Beyoncé fans will disagree but I know deep down they know it too. 🤷🏽♂️
@nowhighering47832 жыл бұрын
Deep down, as a fan since 97, I don’t know that. This song is amazing to me. I didn’t get the throwback feel that many ppl got but that’s cool too. I just got motivation, relating to what’s going on in the world, more vocals to show the talent is still there, a sample of another song which is a win for the original artist as well as far as money and relevancy, it’s released in June for Pride, yet it still relates to everyone. Beyoncé has only wanted to do music and the breaking of souls in her industry is real. But it’s also in our jobs, our schools, everywhere. So this song is for everyone. It’s not about being predictable and coming with something new. She been said that she just wants to spread her messages to the world and she’s inspiring us to do the same as usual. Nobody how much ppl come at you, you gotta tell everybody, you won’t break my soul!

If you are a fan of Bey you know she comes different every-time. Not one of her albums sound the same. I have to disagree, I believe it’s a great leading song that go with the times. That’s why her music will be memorable.

For anybody who don’t like it, it’s ok. It’s still going to do numbers and be everywhere. It’s still a hit even if not to one individual. And remember what Beyoncé said, when you spend your time typing negative things about ppl, you’re doing something that will give you NOTHING in return!

Ok, I’m gonna sorta disagree with Tony, sort of. I do like it, but only parts of it. IMHO, this is my issue with it. It breaks NO NEW GROUND. I think what we have come to expect from Beyoncé is innovation. She is undoubtedly A “creative,” if you will. This sounds like any other track intended for the kids’ to turn up and fall, kick and twirl. And maybe, though it doesn’t quite hit the mark, the House music sector. However, I see club DJ’s being able to turn this into what Beyoncé has failed to do, a HUGE club hit. Lastly, it’s giving me very much Destiny’s Child vibes in spots and I could do without her, um gonna call it, rappin? (I’ve never been a fan of her speaking voice). However, this woman is going to be a legend so I give her grace on this one. One more thought. Her vocals are weak. In spots she's singing in the second tenor range. So, vocals are a bit of a NO for me.

I’m sorry to all the Beyoncé fans but I didn’t like the song either. But I’m hoping the rest of her album is better than this track.

damn leave tony and tj alone beyhive! its their fucking opinion. The song is cute, but she did choose run the world over end of time and pushed it to the extreme! End of time should have had the video treatment. This song reminds me of that situation. She will have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better songs on the album.
@Dimitribray19992 жыл бұрын
Umm no her version of house music was better than drake’s version no shade because he can’t sing for a damn lol and his was obviously very rushed her production of the song is A1

But can you honesty say when you instantly heard the single does it give you party dance floor vibes? Because it didn’t for me! But I do like the song tho.

@@cameron9215 yes it gives very party dance vibes and that’s what I honestly want from her since for the last couple of years her songs have been more on serious tip. It’s a fun track.

I don’t know if I’m just use to hearing other music from Beyoncé but I’m not feeling this track right now. And I agree with you Tony the song sounds like something from the early 90’s but let’s just hope that the rest of her project is better then this single.

Well I think that’s the literal intention of the track is to give 90s house vibe.

You crazy this is definitely a good single the lyrics were super relatable and the gays will be eating it up cus it’s also a pride song and already better then majority of the artist putting out music right now. Anyways it’s your opinion at the end of the day but I think you will eat your words you and your boo sound like you need a nap.
