SHE MADE ME UGLY CRY YALL! We should know by now that the name Beyoncé is synonymous with "beyond legendary, other worldly, next level" and she proves why in this film! Please go watch the film in its entirety on Disney+ before watching my reaction! Don’t forget to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, & SHARE with your friends!! Social medias down below, add me!!
#Beyonce #BlackIsKing #Disney
The visual album from Beyoncé reimagines lessons of "The Lion King" through the use of visuals celebrating and highlighting Black in all of its glory. The music featured in the film is from her album The Gift, which in itself is a love letter to Africa and all of its people!
THE GIFT (DELUXE EDITION) - OUT NOW !
• Apple Music: apple.co/2DkS5La
• iTunes: apple.co/3fdJy9Z
• Amazon: amzn.to/39K905H
• Spotify: spoti.fi/2P8gzKh

Thank You, Disney and Beyoncé for working together and sharing this gift with the world. A much needed project.

I'm so sad that Michael Jackson missed all this. I can imagine he went through Alot with his skin. I think he would have cried when he heard this song. R. I. P MJ

@@AXDRE1225 plus I know he’d have loved African pop music today because when we Africans didn’t have pop music MJ would collaborate with African musicians still he also loved working with Akon and Majek Fashek in the early 2000s before he passed and he loved Beyoncé too

18:10 The film was trying to represent him waking up from the "Life", cars, jewelry and faceless women, and then Scar wakes him up and he is reminded that he has RESPONSIBILITIES, he has to become king, he has No time for HAKUNA MATATAS, and then Already comes on telling him it's time to become king.....I think alot of ppl forget that this film also follows the Lion King Movie, Like Find Your Way Back is the stars talking to Simba, the same stars that Mufasa mentions right before the song starts.....Ima HUGE Lion King Fan so I caught Alll them subs loll

I get it. I’ve listened to the album so many times. I think I cried the first 6 times I played Brown Skin Girls so I wasn’t expecting to get emotional when I saw the video especially since the album came out a year ago. I was bopping and singing along then at some point mid video I just started bawling. I don’t know how she does it but she always does something that just moves me to tears.

i would love to see a side by side break down as well, bc it is very complex trying to decipher everything. From my knowledge there are 3 different angles in which you can watch the film, a Biblical angle, a lion king remake angle, and then the celebration and history of African culture angle. If you find any youtubers break it down, let me know please !!

Black is King is definitely THE PROJECT. Is the biggest music project I've ever seen and it's super well thought. If you go deeper in the story you will realize how big The Gift album is. Apparently this is how Beyoncé finished the love letter to Africa. This is an important and powerful message of self love, how important is our history and embrace it, never forget our culture, our roots, our ancestors. And also never lose your way. Seeing this makes me feel loved and empowered and proud even I'm not Black but I'm Brown and I received the message. As a recommendation for you, watch it again and go deeper into the story you will find it even better. Beyoncé is King

In my fucking life I had seen something so flattering that your skin even bristles without needing to be fans… that woman... she goes through the years .. Songs: 10/10 Theme: 10/10 Photography: 1000/10 Transitions: 10/10 Choreography: 10x10 / 10 Outfits: ** LOVELY ** Scenes: Absolutly PERFECT End: to PRAISE And I make a new Plus in its visuals: Special effects are so perfect and credible that they go hand in hand with Disney, everything .. Everything, everything is credible but at the same time very magical, it is to turn reality into something magical because everything you see is nothing invented or fantasy and even so it seems ✨🙈 Telling a story and exposing the roots of a black culture far above the black panthers and taking us to the most feared African tribes in all history and being part of it, was an experience without words, it is everything with everything, there is light, feeling, love, joy, fun, darkness, there is everything. It shows that they invested a lot of money in this project and it is a great winner ... I think it is also knocking on the door to the Oscars ceremony you have to see it because yes, it is necessary 🥺❤

I agree , I love how she honors dark skin girls even though she is light skin and she wants them to see their beauty in their skin. I get emotional too . I’m light skin and hate to hear black men say say I’ve heard all my life I don’t mess with dark skin girls. . It’s sad in Jamaica, India , Korea even America we are taught Dark is ugly and women and men bleach their skin.Im I sick of this colorist mess straight from the plantation. Hopefully the ties will change .
