So why are you being so hateful she has never denied the fact that this song was not a Beyonce original but like most artist who have performed songs that were originally written and performed by smaller bands or artist, once the producers ask for the rights to the song and the smaller artist agrees and negotiates with the label for some kind of royalties then it is know longer a debate as to whom the primal artist was, sometimes it takes a bigger mainstream artist such as beyonce....

How about Irreplaceable? Ne-Yo wrote it. But she gave no credit to him. She even claimed it as her own. I was a big fan of Bey. Not denying that she sings and performs well. I was just disappointed to know these infos. I mean, she should have recognized Ne-Yo. No hate intended, just disappointment. Peace bro.

You should believe everything you read. She never CLAIMED it as her own. From a legal standpoint, Ne-Yo has always been credited as the main writer. She said ONCE "I wrote this song about..." but she never said that she wrote it all by herself. She and Ne-Yo co-wrote the song, with Ne-Yo doing most of the lyrics and melody, and Beyoncé working on the harmonies and adapting lyrics, etc. That's a collab and it's perfectly fine.

i have to say, i find the obvious "sisters doing it for themselves", "girl power", "we can be just like men, but sexy!" thing going on with Beyoncé rather cheesy and jarring. A less tolerant man would be angry, i'd wager

FYI, She's not the original singer of this song. It was written and first sang by BC Jean. Go check her out. Bey is a big disappointment, :(
