​@louis-nd8lg I'm sorry, but you're wrong. I work as a director in musical theatre and comparing voices, Beyonce is great, but Jennifer is better. What most think is screaming is actually called belting. Jennifer is a master of this and it is legit singing. Anika actually has the best voice of the three. People forget that Disney only picks people who have REAL singing technique and acumen....Who was the Disney princess? I get it. You hear someone overpower Beyonce and you think they're trying to do that. It's not the case here. Beyonce is wonderful, but she's the weakest singer of the trio. That is simply technique and support. I love her, but I'm not going to put her above better singers with natural or trained talent simply because I love her. We need to be truthful & give people props.

Well it’s no secret that Beyonce is the better singer between her and Jennifer. Anyone who knows anything about vocals, knows this. And ppl say she screams when she goes into the upper register bc that’s what is sounds like sometimes bc she doesn’t have the best control. The logic does not work with Beyonce because Beyonce ALWAYS shows immense control over everything she does vocally. It’s blatant. Personally, I hated Jennifer’s voice in this. Just felt like it didn’t really stack up to the other girls. I love Beys voice and tone. Very distinct. She didn’t have to be loud to show her presence or even match Jens volume. Issue with Black peoples is, they think having a big “church sounding voice” means you sing better. No it doesn’t. Jennifer is unrefined uncontrolled, and lacks the range and skill of Beyonce. It’s that simple and that’s why she cannot sing her songs. Also kills me when ppl say Bey doesn’t have a unique sound but hype Jennifer who literally sounds like a typical church girl.

Beyonce's voice was much better this era than now that's for sure. And it's still not saying much!! I'm not a huge Jennifer fan, but her vocal substance is more enticing than beyonce's. Beyonce's tone is more appealing THIS ERA...her tone today is a husky deep mess from her changing her vocal stylings pretty much right after this into playing etta james...you can even hear her here trying to match Jennifer's grit! Her fans will sit here and ignore them missed notes during listen! Trying to do too much lmao...should have prerecorded it like she did on oprah. Oh well
