This moment meant so much to us because Grammy Awards after Grammy Awards we have heard "and the Grammy goes to......" and watched her lose over and over for AOTY for AMAZING work time after time, so to finally witness her when THIS one was really emotional for alot of people... even people who were fellow nominees.

Watching the NFL show just hearing Brittney Spencer sing one line next to her and I paused to look her up, binged her music and bought her album in vinyl and cd. Beyonce is an "albums" artist. Each album is unique, distinct and tells its own story. The Grammys in the past would rather give a coconut AOTY than award it to Beyoncé or any other black woman... i.e sza. Everyone is so happy because they've been inspired by her one way or another and to see her get snubbed for artists whose albums have no staying power or cultural relevance has been incredibly painful to watch. Ryan described cowboy Carter as innovative and that is what B strives to be. I just love how you understand CC's impact.

Love seeing you get excited about the impact of Cowboy Carter Ryan, it may sound corny but it really made me tear up. In today's society especially t's so easy to diminish anyone's efforts and works especially when they are already successful but to hear you report it in numerical terms was amazing and made me go look up a few more stats. And oh wow I'm surprised you havent seen all the controversy about her AOTY snubs- a grammy voter basically saying in an interview that Beyonce should be happy with what she has and basically insinuated that she shouldn't expect AOTY because she either doesn't deserve it (even though she is the artist that has the most grammy awards ever!) or already has enough and shouldn't look for more. Very condescending answer from that voter and showed that him and probably others are bias against her.

Look I love Beyonce but this album was not Grammy material. I’m a Taylor fan as well and I’m glad she didn’t win because TTPD was NOT Grammy material. Just because an album is a great commercial success means it deserves a Grammy. A lot of artists deserved album the year better. Some were nominated and some were not, when the quality of their albums were way better than Beyonce…. I think at this point labels are way too much involved and shady in the Grammys nominations and wins. It became too political. I love Beyonce but for me she doesn’t deserve AOTY.
