This song is clearly about sex, no one can deny that, but it's about sex with someone you're in love with, someone who knows you intimately and who can satisfy you like that. Why can't she sing about that? She's a married woman and she's also an artist who's job it is to create pieces that reflect her emotions, experiences and desires and that evoke the same response in her listeners/viewers and she does it well - Respect to B!!!!

There's absolutely nothing wrong in embracing your sexuality and sensuality. The album that defined Bey as a legend. And it was released at such a great time for me, it really helped me in 2014.
@jabreezy892 жыл бұрын
Starting at 3:36 allow me to explain the genius of Beyoncé as a vocal producer! If you really listen to the the bridge it’s supposed to feel like an orgasm or climax which is so fitting as it’s the climax of the song (a song about making love) As the bridge starts she’s singing kinda soft, slowly and cutting off each line “don’t you know that I give you... good loving.... if you.... need it” etc which can be reminiscent of slow steady strokes just building the anticipation to that orgasm. She starts to add background ad libs which if you wanna get really creative can be seen as moans or exclamations of pleasure to those strokes. She also sings a little louder and then faster which can be faster strokes or switch in pace to that feeling of getting close this is up until the “Rocket baby Rocket baby” all the while the music stopped and it’s just her voice and the beat which can be reminiscent of that moment right before you orgasm and then she says “till the waterfalls” with a long note in a 2 part harmony which is the release and the music returns kinda like the euphoria you feel when you cum and maybe the 2 part harmony represents them cumming at the same time! She even says “damn” afterwards like she just had some bomb ass sex. I think that makes it super clear or I could be thinking too deep but listening to it like that makes me enjoy the song so much more. This is my top 2 Beyoncé songs and it is number 2 lol

No, just focusing on it all the time. It shows no depth in her psyche. She is talented but shallow at best. Not all her fault. She has traveled the world in a bubble and all she can do is emulate what she learned. This issue is not so much the context of her music but the fact that she influences young women and does not stretch their imaginations. Men also have the same issues. I feel that artist like Hozier are torching the future of musical talent. He writes, composes, and performs with deep reflective content.

People who are saying Beyoncé changed, her album sucks or she's a mother now she isn't suppose to make racy videos like this or she was suppose to be feminist and a role model etc. etc. etc. STOP! Firts things first, she is not responsible of anyone but herself and her daughter. Second, she's an artist. How will she ever develope if she stays in one lane? She has been in this industry for too long and have stayed always on top. To be a black female and have that amount of succes and recognition says alot about your work hustle. She has proven herself multiple times and we all know what Beyoncé is capable of. Her talent is undeniable. She has marked history and will for sure be one of biggest legends after her time pasts. Now she's at that stage of her life where she wants to experience new things and have fun with it. She's 33 years old grown ass women. She's more confident than she ever been. You think she minds what any you of you think? Think about that damn it. After all.. lions do not lose sleep over an opinion of a sheep.

[Verse 1] Let me sit this ass on you, show you how I feel Let me take this off, will you watch me Yes, mass appeal Don't take your eyes, don't take your eyes off it Watch it, babe If you like, you can touch me, baby Do you, do you wanna touch me, baby? Grab a hold, don't let go Let me know, that you, ready I just wanna show you now, slow it down, go around You rock hard, I rock steady [Chorus] And rock right up to, the side of my mountain Climb until you reach my peak, baby, peak, baby, peak And reach right into the bottom of my fountain I wanna play in your deep, baby, your deep, baby, deep Then dip me under where you can feel my river flow and flow Hold me 'til I scream for air to breathe And wash me over until my well runs dry Send all your sins all over me, babe, over me [Bridge] Rock it 'til waterfalls Rock it 'til waterfalls Rock it 'til waterfalls Bathe in these waterfalls [Verse 2] I do it like it's my profession I gotta make a confession I'm proud of all this bass, when you put it in your face By the way, if you need a personal trainer or a therapist I can be a piece of sunshine, inner peace, entertainer Anything else that you may read between the lines You and I create rockets and waterfalls [Chorus] And rock right up to, the side of my mountain Climb until you reach my peak, baby, peak, baby, peak And reach right into the bottom of my fountain I wanna play in your deep, baby, your deep, baby, deep Then dip me under where you can feel my river flow and flow Hold me 'til I scream for air to breathe And wash me over until my well runs dry Send all your sins all over me babe, over me [Interlude] Hard, rock, steady, rock, hard, rock, steady Rock, hard, rock, steady, rock, hard, rock, steady [Verse 3] Don't you know that I give you the loving if you need it I give you my word, you can believe it Your love feels like all four seasons growing inside me Life has a reason, swimming in my love, your love lifting Higher, harder Got me screaming to the Lord, boy Kiss me, pray we don't overflow Baby, I know you can feel it pulse Keeping the peak of my waterfall Rock it, baby, rock it, baby, rock it 'til the water falls Damn

what really amazes me about this woman is that she can be so sensual and so sexual BUT she always makes it look CLASSY and SENSUAL/SEXUAL at the same time. IT really is amazing. And that´s somehting not many women can do. Or they look trashy or like they are trying too much. Beyonce just llooks flawless and classic and SHE :)
