Despite Deja Vu Rihanna’s songs charted higher than the other songs on Beyonce’s album. Speaking from my own experience, they both had albums released in 2006, radio constantly played Rihannas album more.

That song has a good beat and the notes sound good. However, I’ve never really liked the concept of it. The guy is living in the woman’s house. She buys him a car, necklace, etc. Then she says “I could have another you in a minute “… If he cheated on her, had the woman in the car that she bought him, and he’s no good, why would she want another one like him? I always thought Beyoncé wrote that song and I just figured she wrote it when she was young and inexperienced in life. Now that I know who really wrote it, it still makes me wonder… 🤔🤨
